I was hesitant to purchase an aftermarket filter for my LG refrigerator, but I took a chance, and it paid off handsomely. I get three filters on subscription delivered right to my front door for about half the price of an OE filter from a big box retailer. We replace the filters every 6 months or so because they are simple to replace. Even when we go over our allotted time, the quality remains excellent; highly recommended! It's unquestionably a good buy.
Our family of five drinks a lot of water and is picky about how it tastes, so we can tell when a filter needs to be replaced and when it's made poorly. These filters do an excellent job. Very quick delivery, well-packaged, and simple to set up. We could tell from the first glass that the Waterdrop filter was of equal, if not superior, quality to the lg filters, and at a quarter of the price! Their company also donates free clean water to a school in Kenya for every filter purchased, so it's a win-win situation. win.
Holy COW! br>br>My fridge's filter is tucked away against the back wall, which is inconvenient when you're part T-shaped. Rex. br>br>After five years of relying on my refrigerator's "filtered water" feature, I finally replaced it, and HOLY MOSES! Isn't this the biggest difference in ages! br>br>The water flowed freely, filling my cup in less than 30 minutes, much to my wife's delight!br>br>The water was also clear again, which was a bonus! Don't be a "Me" type of person. Pay attention to the light that indicates that the filter needs to be changed, and don't try to fool your spouse by covering the indicator with white electrical tape. I can assure you that it will be greatly appreciated! br>br>In every way, this product is a winner. I'm looking forward to replacing it in two and a half years!.
A Kenmore filter costs $50 and lasts only 6 months, while a similar manufacturer's filter costs $10. I consider myself fortunate to live in a water-rich area. However, it has a foul taste, and having water filters can help a lot. I'm not sure what the difference is between the $50 and the $10 filter; My wallet, on the other hand, can, and stocking up is simple. wait for deals for a few years (btw: I'm sorry it took a year for me to write this review, lol).
For my refrigerator, these are just as long-lasting as the name-brand ones. They are equally effective. Three of these are about the same price as one! It's hard to understand why you'd want to buy the rest! I have city water, and this does a good job of masking the bad taste and lasts about three months each (with two people drinking the majority of their daily water intake from it). br>br>I would highly recommend this product and will continue to purchase it. This isn't the first time I've done something like this!.
I've been purchasing these filters for my Kenmore refrigerator for several years. They're a perfect fit and do everything they're supposed to do. My home's water supply sends us hard water with a lot of chlorine, and these filters greatly reduce the smell, taste, and harshness of that water. Great product that I will continue to purchase as long as it is available. This book comes highly recommended.
They haven't caused us any issues. An aside: Our refrigerator does not notify us when the filter needs to be replaced, but because we use it frequently, we put it on a calendar according to the recommended length of use and replace it no later than that date, or sooner if the water tastes different. FYI- Because there is a discernible taste difference, I believe it is effective. Also, the price is very reasonable.
When I compared it to the water I got from various faucets, it was 5-fold lower. Over the course of a month's use, the TDS averaged out to be 7 TDS. ZEROWATER TDS meter was used to test the water. All I got from mine was a slight change in taste, and when I contacted the seller/company, they recommended that I buy the more expensive RO filter system to reduce the TDS in my water! What a load of nonsense.
