It's the same filter, according to my knowledge, in terms of its function to filter water, but it's made by a different company.
Reset the filter and check for any damage to the seal. Make sure the rubber gasket is completely dry and that the filter is fully inserted and locked. This has worked for me on a couple of occasions.

After the ice in my glass melts, I notice a large number of white flakes on the bottom. The tap water isn't nearly as filthy as it is after this filter, so I'm guessing it's the filter. Returning it and purchasing the originals is the best option.
The filters fit perfectly and appear to perform as well as the original Samsung filters. It's a fantastic deal, and the taste of our water hasn't changed. I don't have any complaints, and the price is excellent. My reason for giving it a four-star rating is that you have to trust them when they say it filters just as well as the original manufacturer's version.
After contacting the vendor about the issues we were having with the first filters we ordered, we received new filters with the number RWF 0700A. In December, we placed these. 27th of April, 2019 and it went off without a hitch. There has been no noise thus far, and the water pressure is normal! I'll be buying my water filters from you in the future! Please! Give this vendor a chance to be your vendor; I received excellent, friendly, and courteous service! It shook the lines and made a lot of noise, but there was no water pressure. Every water filter that claims to be a replacement for the Samsung water filter with two O rings does not work with our Samsung fridge! We have an ICEPURE RWF0700A water filter with only one O ring that works perfectly!! I'm having trouble finding an ICEPURE FILTER with only one O ring. They were just as easy to install as the name brand, but the taste was terrible and made me feel sick on days when I drank water or ice from the refrigerator. I needed to find a name-brand replacement as soon as possible. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> Seller responded promptly to the review, and while taste is subjective, they requested the container product id number so they could follow up with the manufacturer. I gave the seller an extra star because of his excellent customer service, response, and follow-up.
They fit perfectly and appear to filter water just as effectively as the Samsung filters that came with the refrigerator. The Icepure filters should be replaced after 6 months, while the Samsung filters should last a year; however, the Icepure filters are less than half the price of the Samsung filters, especially when purchased in bulk. They are a better value for money if you are willing to replace them more frequently.
I just got the filters and won't be installing them for a while! The price was good, but the quality won't be known for a while. Are they simple to install? No. Samsung created this type of filter, which you can remove and reinstall with pliers. Unless you're Mr. Atlas, the filter's "crank" isn't big enough to get a good grip on it. Design is a mess! I'm not sure if it's because of this brand or because of the design of the filter or the Samsung refrigerator, but the filter leaks frequently. To put the "O ring" in place, I have to be very careful. It's possible it'll shift while you're putting it together. SAMSUNG has informed me that this is the recommended vendor, brand, and model. They recommend inspecting the O ring (basically washers), looking for obstructions, and lowering the water pressure. br>br>FOLKS, please let me know if you have any additional ideas. Otherwise, I hope this research is useful to someone. Unfortunately, I've given this product a low rating because I'm not sure if it's because of the filter's brand or design, or because of the refrigerator. If anyone would like to contact me and tell me how to fix the marks, I'd be happy to do so.
Our brand name filter for our refrigerator had been temporarily discontinued, so we were looking for an alternative that was about a quarter of the price of the brand name and came in a pack of four so we wouldn't have to buy as often! Our name-brand filters last 6 months or longer, but our first use of this one lasted only 2 months before our water tasted terrible. I have no idea what it tasted like, except that it reminded me of damp mildewy towels. It's downright revolting. Just two months later!.
