For my Samsung refrigerator, I ordered several different brands of water filters from Amazon. This is my first and last purchase of the "AquaCrest" brand, as I've been pleased with the other filters' ability to remove metallic taste and discoloration from my city's (municipal) water supply. Simply put, this product isn't up to par. It's tolerable to drink cold water straight from the fridge, but if you let it sit for a few hours or bring it to room temperature, it tastes like tap water. I'm thinking about tearing one apart to see if the plastic housing has any filtering. This is a brand that I will not purchase in the future. I've probably put 30 gallons of water through the filter (including 5 gallons just to dump upon installation) and the water still hasn't improved in taste. br>br>Second Update br>br> months: After a few months of dissatisfaction, I swapped out another filter, which appears to be making improper contact. My Samsung refrigerator is the correct model, but the water filters aren't even filling up. I decided to give the third a shot. I swear I did a double-take. I double-checked the model number, but these are simply not functional. I'd look elsewhere if the product was defective.

For the price of one 'brand' filter, I purchased three AQUACREST filters in a pack of three. They were simple to set up and operate. I also like the month label because it allows me to keep track of when it's time to replace it in six months. Although my refrigerator will notify me when it needs to be replaced, it's useful to know when it's due. Without hesitation, I would suggest these replacement filters.

I couldn't find any reviews of refrigerator filters that showed ppm levels in the water, which is why I'm reviewing this filter and sharing my findings. br>br>I had purchased a hose filter and was so pleased with the results that I decided to purchase the refrigerator filters from the same manufacturer. br>br>As you can see from the photos, the results were not good! I don't know about you, but I prefer to save money on things like filters. There are a plethora of generic water filters on the market, each with a similar label and generally positive reviews. I bought three of these because they seemed to get more consistent positive feedback. Prepare for the arrival of my Samsung refrigerator. I just finished the third installment of the three-part series. The water that came out of the pack was always crystal clear and delicious. Each filter, like the brand-name version, is rated for 300 gallons. There doesn't appear to be a notch to indicate when you've twisted it far enough, so I simply pushed it up and turned clockwise until it stopped, and it never leaked. Before installing the new filters, I found it was much easier to prime them by filling them with tap water. Otherwise, it appeared that getting all of the air out of the line took a long time.

Is there a distinction at all? It was time to change the water filter in my three-year-old car. year- side-by-side comparison of the Samsung RS22HDHPNSR and the new Samsung RS22HDHPNSR Model with a depth on one side. This 3-piece set was discovered by me. My model number was not listed in the list of compatible models, despite the fact that it appeared to be the same filter. The filter was supposed to work with the Aqua-Filter, according to the description. Pure Plus filters are used in my refrigerator. br>br>So I double-checked the compatibility of this water filter with another Samsung refrigerator model (let's call it Model B) that Samsung claimed would also work with mine. So I reasoned that if the filter worked with Model B and Model B and my model were both on the same compatibility list, I should be fine. Isn't that a logical fallacy? br>br>To summarize, it is the proper filter for my model. Samsung, I imagine, wants to maintain a healthy profit margin and isn't always forthcoming about which non-core products it uses. What refrigerators can Samsung filters be used with? br>br>The installation is simple, but make sure the new one is properly seated and that you run a lot of water through it. A LOT. That's the only way to get a smooth (non-spitting) flow and prevent the dispenser from dripping after your glass has been filled and you've walked away.

Even after replacing the filter receptacle, I had to file down pieces of the filter to fit it. What a pain in the neck! For me, this one was a no-brainer. I despise Samsung for subjecting me to this torture every six months, but I am grateful to AQUACREST for making changing my filter a breeze. I can only hope that it is filtering my water in the way that it is supposed to. There isn't a bad taste, but I haven't tested the purity of the water.

Our Samsung refrigerator's filter needed to be replaced, so I went on the hunt for one. WOW. The cost of a single brand-name filter was $25-$30. 30. I came across this set of three for the price of one brand name and decided to give it a try. br>br>Installation was simple; the new one was up and running in less than a minute. Moving the food out of the way took longer than removing the old filter and screwing in the new one. br>br>After installing the new filter, I ran a lot of water through the dispenser to flush out any fine charcoal debris and air. br>br>When my wife arrived home, she grabbed a glass of water and immediately recognized that I had replaced it. Much better flow, and she swears it tastes better (it did, because the old filter was filthy). br>br>These will be my go-to replacements for my Samsung fridge because of the price, quality, and fit.

These are far superior to the original. Drip deposits of hard water have significantly decreased. Since the release of the Samsung DA29- When the price of 00003G dropped to $50, it was time to look for a replacement; I'll keep you updated on my progress. These arrived on time, in good condition, and appear to be exactly what was ordered. It went in just like the original and didn't leak at all. It was nice that the gaskets were protected by a cap.
