A replacement fan is available for 99110872A
5/5

The following edits have been made I bought a replacement fan because the original was on its way out (very old). After one day, it stopped working after a new fan arrived. By examining the edits, you'll see that I was super pissed off. After I stopped thinking, I started thinking again. I am not sure whether the switch is malfunctioning or whether the fan is malfunctioning. My next step was to pull the switch up from the wall, and sure enough the wire connected to the switch was loose and fell To tighten the wires to the switch, I did so. I like the way the fan works. It's obvious that I'm a total Now it's your turn to shame me. EDIT I made two changes A replacement was received, and the new fan failed to last a It's good to be back. There is no logic in this. EDIT
During the first week after installation, the fan failed to function. Added another one to my order. Here's what we have to look forward to. It replaced item #99110872A (old fan) after the motor stopped working upon installation. I like the fact that it is easier to install and is It will stop working on me if I don't update the review.

This is junk! It provides no suction and is very loud
3/5

The installation was pretty straightforward. Two screws were needed to remove the old and mount the The power cord was too short, and I did double check that I have the right model number to replace it. I spliced in an extension, so it's not the end of the world. This piece of software is pure junk as soon as it is installed. My basement can be heard all the way to the attic where this loud machine is. I can hear this thing like an airplane taking off. As It was replacing an old equipment that had been in operation for decades, the new unit is easily twice as loud. Even if this unit could vacuum, I could probably deal with the noise. However, the unit does not provide any vacuuming power. In fact, if I placed a piece of toilet paper next to the enclosure, there was no suction the only force provided was from pushing the toilet paper almost all the way into the fan. You can get this unit at virtually the same price that you would get the entire receptacle for! Assuming this price gouging is due to the ease of just installing the motor instead of having to replace the entire receptacle, I can only assume it is motivated by convenience. Fortunately, that is not the case here since I am out $50 not only because I can't return it since I spliced the wires, but because I now have to replace the entire plug.

Replacement Fan (What Is A Direct Broan Replacement Fan? The NOT) was horrific! It is said that Our purchase of a fan from Amazon called "BROAN DIRECT REPLACEMENT FAN" When they were out of the box, these bearings had about 3/8" of The fan would make a noise (not a rubbing noise) when it was installed - that noise would only get louder with time
3/5

After we couldn't stand the noise any longer, I broke down and went to ePlacementParts. The following part number came up for sale when you searched "www. blower. com" The S97009796 number. It didn't work in the hole for the Amazon fan (which needed shimming) and NO NOISE! I paid twice as much as the Amazon fan, but the fan fit in the hole perfectly. This is the perfect BROAN replacement!.

It is a lucky day for An evaluation showed that the motor and fan in the bathroom vent (NuTone model 9417DN) were quite noisy
5/5

After a few minutes of cleaning and inspection it was clear that we needed to replace the motor/fan. I had no idea Amazon recommendations as a result of my search history showed this replacement. Catalogue services and recommendation services should probably perform some sort of corrective action every 10 to 15 Most of the time, the app recommends things I've bought or poked around with Today, the imps and demons of technology were smiling at me or frowning at me That sounds good to me. In addition to costing only a few dollars, the installation and testing of this motor took just five minutes. Upon removing the old motor it was discovered that the failing part had severe wobbling. This motor is much quieter than the old one and should last just as long. This might be an improvement in air volume, but I couldn't tell for sure. A smaller area needs to be cleaned up, and there isn't too much work to be done.

I was pleased with how it turned out
5/5

If you can get up there and dust everything, that'll be wonderful. Do not be a lazy person. If you are going to be up there anyhow, you might as well brush the crud out (no solvents, no sprays. Just a paper towel and elbow grease if that is what you have). The pros are I was able to get the job done. The cons are It was very easy for me to do a lazy replacement of the part without dusting out the fan area once the bulb had been removed and the light switch was turned off.

Fans and motors need to be replaced
5/5

The fan set up was great, easy to install, the plug was just the right length and the bolts bolted right in. Its only drawback is that it only has The original circuit drew 4 amps, but now it draws 9 amps. There is a 5 amp limit. Thus, it tends not to leave as much air flowing through, so you may have to leave it for The price is right for me, and I'll buy again when I wear out the next one. These are installed in two bathrooms, but the old ones lasted between 20 and 22 years, so if these last for that long I will consider it a good investment. I just checked the date and it's 4/30/18 and this fan is making the same grinding sound as the old one. We got about three years out of it, so I guess it's time to buy another one. It is located in the bathroom where we all take showers, so we use it a lot. We sometimes leave it on all day because we fail to turn it off or we went to work or school while it was on.

The price remains the same when a whole new unit is purchased
3/5

Here's the good news There's only one bad thing to report This fan is weaker in comparison to other current models and costs the same as buying a whole new unit.

It would be nice to buy a turbocharged version of the replacement fan with maybe 120 cubic feet per minute or something like that. If you did this, you might have to balance the fan on the shaft and make sure it doesn't wobble when it spins. Quite difficult, I guess, to achieve such a goal in these times.

Finished the restoration of a new look
5/5

The installation was a concern for me. I pictured the various ways to get the motor and fan to fit around the light. As long as the motor is rotated out of the way, everything is fine. As a result, the installation was quite simple. The new motor restored the apparatus to new condition with a smooth, uninterrupted sound that sounds as good as it did thirty years ago, after a little cleaning of the container box. I am very pleased with this We bought one for the other bathroom as well.
