These old aluminum mesh filters had been cleaned many times and were showing signs of corrosion and aging. The range hood is now much more efficient, and the air flow is much better because of the new filters delivered the next day. Now I will not have to worry about smoke detectors going off when I roast a chicken. My next purchase will be this one, and I won't put off changing these filters again as long as I did.

The new Kenmores cleaned well and replaced some old Kenmores that were no longer performing. The replacement filters were a good replacement for the original ones that we had to swap out. It's a good thing I saved the clips we used on our original filters that kept the filters and screens together, as these didn't have them, so it was hard to keep the two together to fit inside Ms. Shirrie.

The filter was purchased as a replacement for the original. In no way can the original be compared to the quality of this file. The material is flimsy and prone to bending. This is definitely not a direct replacement for the QS series, which makes matters worse. As a result, the filter cannot be held in place as the notches hold it in place are missing.
