Despite the fact that this is firm, we have had it installed since I have always been happy with the service I received.
As I had mentioned earlier, I returned the plastic waste king and got a better metal disposal at Lowe's for a lower price. An adapter ring would be needed to mount the waste king. There were a lot of people experiencing the same problem, after doing some research on it.
As the name indicates, this is only an adapter to connect the dishwasher drain hose to the disposal. It is not possible for me to answer questions
You must connect it to your disposal to use your dishwasher. I was very satisfied with the results. Nevertheless, if you do not have a dishwasher, please return the item.

As soon as I needed to change the connections to my dishwasher's garbage disposal drain inlet, this transition connector matched exactly what I needed without causing any problems. But the material it is made from is very flexible rubber, and when connected to my disposal inlet, the dishwasher hose pulls down, crimping off the connector, and cutting off the line (just like what happens when you allow your garden hose to kink). In order to drain the water, I had to tie the drain hose using wire ties. What I had hoped for wasn't the case.
I noticed that the stock hose attached to our new dishwasher already had a rubber connection built to connect to the garbage disposal as soon as I started installing it. It seems I spent a lot of money on this, since I thought I wouldn't need it now that the new hose has the built in Despite this, the hose on the dishwasher was too long. So, I had to cut the disposal connection off in order to shorten it. The fact that we already had it at hand made things so much easier.
I purchased a new Bosch dishwasher, but the drain on the garbage disposal wasn't the same size as the piece it attached to. The person I spoke to waited on hold for a half hour, then said that's too bad, they were unable to offer any advice. I saw this on Amazon and I knew it would work. It helped me get out of a plumbing bind. I think it should have come from Bosch when the dishwasher was installed.
I finally hooked up the dishwasher to the garbage disposal and it could not have been easier (unless the previous owner had done it!). It doesn't leak or block at all. Don't pay much attention to the brand and model of the garbage disposal and washer Despite that, it is adjustable and there are options that made it easy to set up.
It was hard for me to pin down the source of the water leak. There was an old one under the sink that was torn and had a hole in it. Since the first was installed before I owned the house, I was dubious that getting a second one of these would be more than a temporary fix. After a couple of months, everything is working well. Installation was easy, the leak was fixed completely, and there was never a need to replace it.
A contractor installed my cabinets and countertops, and in the process of doing so, he threw out my disposal and sink parts. That's a huge mistake. Using this part, I was able to replace the connector between my dishwasher discharge hose and This clamp is chosen because of how the clamps are tightened - they are screwed on The user can tighten or loosen them depending on what is necessary. I found the installation process to be very simple. If necessary, you can trim the hose to fit different sizes. The connector had to be cut down by one size. To secure it to the disposal, I used one clamp, cut and trimmed the other end to fit the dishwasher hose, then used the second clamp to secure it to the dishwasher hose. Then, I ran a leak test. It did leak a little bit after my first try, but by reinserting it I was able to fix it Putting the dishwasher hose back in its proper place The clamp is being tightened. It's possible for you to do it too if I can do.
This is an incredibly difficult thing Made for a cheap price. It took me more than two days to get this ridiculous piece of junk to latch on to itself, but in the end it took a direct hit from the sun In the sink I was able to have the eraser installed within half the time it took to.
The only reason I give four stars is because more horsepower would've been nice, but it was the best product for the price. Plus, my friend watched the installation video and went right ahead with the install.
