I received the item ahead of schedule, and the color and fit were perfect. The center door, however, would not fully open (as seen in the photo). This means you'll have to open the door every time you put silverware in. It's more of a annoyance than a major issue. I didn't want to return the new silverware basket because the old one was nearly unusable - I was just looking for a replacement part for the broken door (which is very simple to remove). After several requests for the third-party to stand behind their own 30-day guarantee, day guarantee, they quickly and courteously responded, "sorry, ask Amazon to assist you. " Amazon compensated me with a small credit (which was not valid on any third-party orders). If third-parties want to sell on Amazon, they must first get approval from Amazon. They should have full responsibility and ethics to stand behind what they sell, even if they are based in another country.
The product is fine in general, but the packaging was inadequate, and one of the silverware covers broke during shipping. I would have returned the product as damaged if it hadn't been for the fact that I needed a silverware basket for several weeks, so I removed the covers and no longer had to wash silverware by hand.
My Kitchenaid dishwasher was replaced with this exact model. It's exactly what I was looking for. It is durable, prevents silverware from catching on the outer seal, and keeps silverware separated so that it can be cleaned more effectively.
The silverware basket that came with my dishwasher needed to be replaced, and I couldn't find one. This is an excellent choice. It appears to be made of the same type of plastic, so the bottom pieces will most likely break after a few years, but for now, it's exactly what I needed.
We used to have an old dishwasher with a useless silverware drawer. Because the measurements were correct, this was purchased to replace it. We like it a lot. There are enough sections and space for all of the items that are normally stored in a silverware basket. It's the equivalent of getting a brand-new dishwasher. It's easy to use and it works well.
This time, we're going to double-check that it's securely fastened to the side track. The bottom of the previous tray melted due to a lack of securement. It will be decided on the appearance, quality, and durability. It's been two months, and it's still going strong.
My Kitchen Aid dishwasher had to be replaced, and this was the perfect fit. Yes, at a fraction of the cost.
I like the lifetable basket lid in case you need to put something bigger in there. I've used it about 20 times now and the plastic isn't sticky or brittle, just plain and strong and firm.
