The original part had a label that read The address of the unused arm is W10350374 adj arm. There are clips on this arm that need to be popped into place so the wheels can be attached. This is apparently a bad design since the clips can break easily, which is what happened in According to the manufacturer, this part is the same as part number "W10350374" and has already been equipped with wheels. I got this arm through Amazon and I'm very pleased with it and the wheels don't look like they are going to break ever. This arm comes in two sizes, so make sure you get the one that fits your arm properly. After being so impressed by the other arm, I already purchased another one for when the other side without the clips needs to be replaced. My guess is that it will eventually break. The arm was a perfect replacement. My only review was a little tongue-in-cheek. I rarely write reviews, but this was a great buy and I wanted people to know that it was high My next review will be in a few months and a year or two from now. I really like the quality and it is very sturdy, as I mentioned earlier. The dishwasher is probably built to last a long time, and I would be surprised if it broke. One day, I opened the door to put something in and noticed that the top shelf was hanging down a bit, in the corner of one of the front walls. After checking the wheel and rack I learned that the pin that connects the two had basically broken away. As you can imagine, I was very angry. The problem occurred in our dishwasher after I located the model number, did a quick search online, and found out what part needed to be replaced. You will have to remove a few parts that are attached to this rack adjuster in order to remove the old, broken adjuster and replace it with this new one, as Whirlpool and other sites sold this rack adjuster with a bunch of other components. A representative of the seller contacted me to ask if I should expect to need to replace all those other components as well. My suspicion is that all those other companies sell such a large kit because they expect me to break all these plastic parts off the rack as I pry them off. My seller told me that I did not need the extra components so long as my own were in working order. As well as instructions on how to take out the rack, remove the adjuster, and reinstall all of it. It included links to very useful YouTube videos as well as the times at which each video should begin and end. I do not consider myself to be an expert DIYer, and I will admit that I have a terrible habit of not reading or listening to directions all the way before starting The tabs on the bottom of the card were just a little harder to press to get them to pop out, so I wondered if I could get them to pop out if I pressed hard enough. In addition, I was also somewhat anxious about asking my husband to do the repair since he tends to use a little more force and those plastic parts can be easily damaged. My replacement was able to be carried out on my own, so I'm pleased to report that. In the end, I was ahead of the instructions, even though I got ahead of them. In terms of why I ended up selecting this replacement adjuster over the Whirlpool part, I'm glad I chose the upgraded pin that holds the wheel in place. In the Whirlpool part, the pin was still mounted on a metal body, but the design was updated. In light of the pin being the part that broke, I did not see the point in replacing my broken part with another part that used the same pin when I had this upgraded solid pin available. It took me a while to buy the first one since I wasn't sure if I could replace it without breaking all the components, and I only needed one to replace one wheel on one side. Now I'm about to order another one for the other side since the other adjuster broke. Taking the entire process from start to finish took only a few minutes. (Also, if you live in the UK, and your wheel pin sheered off like ours did, if you happen to have gel gorilla glue (like super glue) lying around, that may work as a temporary fix until your replacement part is delivered. We run the dishwasher at least once, but more often twice, a day and I would not want to do the dishes by hand for two days in a row. My first impression of the gorilla glue was that it wouldn't hold the broken pin onto the adjuster, but it did stick and hold up through two dishwasher cycles without falling out. As a result, I did not put breakable items on top of the shelf because I fully expected that pin again to break off but it remained firmly attached after I removed it from the adjuster to replace it.

During my professional life, I design products based on my engineering knowledge. Actually, this part is MUCH nicer and much more durable than the OEM part. A better plastic is used, the rollers are secured in a much more durable way, and there are no wobbles. Only one of mine was broken, so I wasn't sure if I should order one or two more. My first reason for getting the second one was two-fold. 1. Two reasons helped me solidify my decision to spend the extra $13. My new part is MUCH less wobbly than my old one, and I now have a much better upper rack in comparison to the 1/2-rack I had before. It would have been great if I had only replaced one side. Two, you might find the swap difficult if you don't understand how the pieces fit together the first time. As soon as you figure out how the first side works, the second side hardly seems complicated. It will probably be hard to figure out the second side next year if you do one side now and the other next year. Great, inexpensive improvement!.

During our recent test, the top rack of our Whirlpool Gold Series model WDT910SSYM0 had broken one of the wheels. As a result, the wheels in this part fit in place exactly to replace the broken adjuster assembly component. It appears that the wheel "axle" of this part is stronger than its original counterpart.
