There are a lot of dishwashers that use a similar part, so if you order one, it'll probably fit even if it's a little longer or shorter than your original part. We had a hard time finding one that had the exact part number or was labeled as fitting our dishwasher. We looked at a few different models until we found one that seemed to be an exact fit because they aren't expensive.

For two people, this is a good deal, but it's a pain to put together

I was afraid that while installing my 4-month-old Whirlpool dishwasher, I would break the sliding track. The two ends must be snapped in with a lot of force! On the bright side, it may mean that it will be impossible for it to loosen up again. The appearance and color of the piece is identical to that of the original. I'd rather pay a lower price for a single item.

On the whirlpool, it's a tight fit. Very well constructed. I'm hoping it will stand up to the heat of the heat dry and not fall off like the original.
