Not sure, but my wife looked up the model of KicthenAid we have and ordered that part. it fit.
No - Because it's too big, this part number won't fit in your appliance. The part number WPW10179397, which will be a different size depending on your model, is what you'll need.
Yes, it will work with the model you gave us.
I'm not sure what model that is, but it worked with my Kitchenaid mixer.

This was purchased to replace the original equipment, which had a hole in the bottom that allowed utensils to fall through and become lodged. br>br>The original also allowed utensils to hang out on the side, causing the door seal to be damaged. The handle on this basket is on the higher side. It protects the door seal from damage when placed in the dish washer with the high side facing the outside. That is a fantastic feature.
It appears to be the same as the first. Actually, it's a little better because it comes with extra cover holders. If you do not use them, they will be removed. If you're purchasing this because the bottom has broken, I recommend cutting the bottom off the good portion and saving it. Simply place the good portion on top of the broken one when the bottom of this one breaks.
We had been in need of a new silverware basket for quite some time and finally decided to replace it with this one, which we love so far. Our old basket had developed holes where the plastic had deteriorated and broken off, resulting in silverware falling through and requiring fishing out to close the washer door. After measuring the old basket and ensuring that it would not be too big for the space, this basket was a good fit. br>br>We like having the handle to take the basket out when we're done cleaning and putting the pieces away. Each utensil has its own slot in this basket, which makes it unique. This is beneficial because it separates the pieces and ensures that they are all thoroughly cleaned. Putting them in and taking them out takes a little longer, but not much longer. If you wanted, you could remove the separator tops and use the baskets as an open area to place the utensils. The middle openings allow for the storage of bulkier items such as spoons and forks.
It's quite effective. Because the separators in my kitchenaid were so far down the basket, I was using an old one from my GE. That was the only thing that bothered me about it. My GE one had major issues with my silverware sliding down the side in four places due to a design flaw. I was advised to purchase larger silverware by the person who sold it to me. I will not be purchasing from them in the future. Because of the high side, my silverware does not catch on the side rubber seals, which I like. I also appreciate the fact that the bottom has no extra-wide design flaws, which prevents my silverware from falling through. I wish it had a lidded side basket, but I make do with the two that came with my GE for washing small lids. In general. For me, it's a win-win situation. If the size is right for your dishwasher, I highly recommend it.
This is the same size as the original, but it does not have the Kitchen Aid logo on the handle, as some other reviewers have complained about. I took the old basket's logo off (two screws and prying apart), drilled two holes in the new basket's handle, and screwed the old logo to the new basket. This gives you a thicker handle to grab onto when unloading, as well as giving it a more authentic appearance. br>br>However, after a few months of use, one of the silverware flaps has warped and is no longer attached to the basket. I would have given more stars if this hadn't happened, and I'm past the return policy on Amazon. I wish Amazon's return policy was more generous than 30 days.
My old Kitchenaid silverware basket had several of the bottom pieces break away, allowing silverware to fall to the bottom of the dishwasher and limiting washer arm travel. This replacement basket does not match the Kitchenaid OEM part exactly, but it fits in the space and gets the job done. I was relieved to find a replacement for the original basket because I had only had the dishwasher for three months and was dissatisfied with the quality of the OEM basket.
Our old rack had reached the end of its useful life. The only disadvantage is that it is not as durable as the original. Without the metal company identifier, it appears to be the same. I'm not sure if that weighed it down in any way. Whatever the case may be. The cost is lower. The quality continues to meet our expectations. I am pleased with my purchase and would recommend it to others.
Mine was missing the flap over the middle section, but I was able to replace it with one from an old rack. I was also disappointed that the handle was not the same as my original, which allowed for a more comfortable grip. I got the idea to take the handle off my old one, drill holes in the new one, and attach it thanks to previous posts on this site. Expensive in comparison to the time and effort required to correct the problem. I was planning on returning it and looking for an OEM part, but due to the covid pandemic, I decided against going out.
