This is incredible! br>br>For a fraction of the price of a model-perfect home, This specific utensil basket for our Kitchen Aid dishwasher fit perfectly and has withstood daily use from a 5-year-old child. a family of four with children who aren't always gentle when loading and unloading It has all of the space and features we require, as well as the option of removing the covered basket(s) if necessary. br>br>I'm not sure why I put off buying this replacement for so long. To keep utensils from falling through the holes in our old basket, I literally cobbled it together several times with coated wire and waterproof superglue. It continued to break and crumble in new places. This basket has greatly facilitated my life! Simply measure the length, height (including the handle), and width of your current basket and compare them to these measurements. If they're close, don't be hesitant to order. You will not be sorry.
For some reason, I go through a lot of these baskets; I believe the knives puncture the plastic. So far, this one fits and is a good price; I'll get another when this one breaks, which hopefully won't be for a few years.
We fought through it, but with everything crammed into such a small space, some spoons were still covered in peanut butter after a full cycle. I was ecstatic to discover this much larger aftermarket basket.
It's the perfect size for our dishwasher. We bought it to replace one in our dishwasher that had worn out and had holes in the area where the silverware was stored. This one has given us a lot of pleasure! Although it appeared to be a bit pricey, I'm glad we purchased it. It functions admirably. Silverware would slip through the holes in the grid, which was extremely inconvenient. So we purchased this one, which works perfectly and fits perfectly in our dishwasher. It was well worth the money to be able to put an end to my daily frustration.
The silverware would fall through the holes in the bottom of my Kenmore Elite Dishwasher basket, which was over ten years old. This was purchased as a replacement, and it fits perfectly and appears to be very sturdy.
One of the tabs that fit into the slot was broken, so it arrived with a broken top on the left side. I suppose it isn't a big deal, but the entire product appears to be made of thinner plastic than the original.
It's a good substitute for my old KitchenAid, which is about 20 years old. I was initially disappointed that the plastic was not as thick as the original, but I don't anticipate owning this dishwasher for another 20 years! All things considered, the price is reasonable.
GE's model is much more flimsy. Our GE Profile dishwashing machine was unable to accommodate it. I had to put it in backwards, which resulted in a loss of space and gaps.
