I used this dishwasher installation kit to replace my old dishwasher with a new one. It was equipped with almost everything I needed. It took me a while to figure out that I needed an extended drain hose, but just like I didn't know I needed it, once I actually got into the process of replacing the dishwasher, it turned out the new dishwasher had a different drain hose than It is the 90s These brass fittings are excellent, and I've been a long-time fan of stainless steel jacketed hoses, because they are strong and last for a long time. The cost of this kit is much less than if I had purchased each component.

Everything was well machined and the parts were solid. Overall, the fit is good. There is only one disadvantage for those who buy this and have it installed, it may not work due to the lack of strain relief, which is legally mandatory in certain areas, and thus, people may not install.

It leaks constantly due to a malfunctioning adapter. The toilets, sinks, and bathtub in my house have been replaced. The water lines that I connect don't leak, and I know how to connect them. The supply line with the provided adapter to my new dishwasher was connected several times using varying amounts of Teflon tape and rubber tubing compound while ensuring that the connection was not over-tightened Adjust the tension. An issue with the adapter was clearly evident, as it consistently failed to fully seal and It was thrown away and replaced by a new unit from a different company (Supply Demand 6572 Universal Dishwasher Installation Kit), which solved the problem forever. An adapter from the supply line to the DW is different in the kit that gets the job done, and it does so flawlessly. Would have been nice if I had found the Supplying Demand kit first. I would have saved myself many hours.

There is no complete kit in the box

This kit looked like a complete kit sent from the vendor in a sealed box with all the parts shown on the website, so I purchased it based on the picture on the website. Instead of the adapters and fittings shown on the website, I received a separate kitchen type bag with a hose inside it and a separate power cord. I returned it without assembly since it was not functional when delivered, and had to go to my local hardware store to purchase another unit. The product post of this vendor is deceptive and misleading.

The power cord is too short for a typical installation, and it doesn't come with a cord retainer, which is an important part.
The water supply hose is also too short, and the electrical wires do not have eyelets Mostly, this pack is designed for OLD dishwashers because there are only a few wires to deal with, especially the ground wire. It is hard to find a "Universal" that fits everyone.
