There's also a Mylifeunit washer drain hose hose extension kit which is less expensive, comes with the machine, and looks to be the same quality as this one. It comes in three sizes and should be cut to fit since it comes in three different sizes.
The only purpose of this extension is to attach a washing machine hose to a waste I don't see how the hose can fit the opening on your faucet.

In order for me to connect the hose on my apartment-sized washing machine to my shower drain, it had to be longer. The 6 feet hose didn't quite fit my needs at first I originally ordered it. A big size is exactly what I was looking for. I'd rather have a big one. There is something appealing about the different diameters at the hose end. To achieve what I was seeking, I had to only cut it to the size I needed. The author barely knows the difference between a hammer and a screwdriver, so you can imagine how simple it is! Although it isn't heavy duty, it does the job I need it to do.
It is 28mm long (you cut it down to the proper size). My washer pump uses it. This 8' hose came from Amazon. I bought one from the hardware store that fit perfectly, but was too short. First, the hose is made from corrugated plastic instead of wrapped coil, which is of very poor quality. The flange sizes are all WAY out of whack, too. There is no need for a 28mm lens. It was still too large for my 28mm fitting even after cutting it down to the smallest size (25mm). It leaked no matter how tightly I clamped it. This crap comes from China.
It would not seal properly on the washer so I couldn't use it. I had to purchase another. only thing I liked was that it was a more flexible plastic, more like rubber, but since it didn't seal tight, I couldn't use it it leaked all over the floor ( what a mess!).
This is a very well-made, sturdy construction. I think the best feature is being able to connect numerous sized outputs on the washing machine side.
When I got the new one, it was the SAME one! It's now two hoses that I have no need for! !.
It's been great to replace with the older ones. The older ones were a little short for the space where I have to arrange the washer in that room.
It looks like it has melted or something. In my case, I have a GE washer that relies on a hose fitting into it rather than on an outlet pipe, so I was unable to use the clamp and used the little plastic flange that came with it instead. Moreover, there are two pinhole leaks on the hose that let water leak out.
In spite of the absence of instructions, the item works as intended. The Samsung washing machine was also happy with the replacement drain line, as opposed to an extension line.
