The carafe in this photograph is stunning. We did not get it to make coffee or tea. It will certainly make those fine, but it's not what we bought DO NOT expect it to keep anything warm, even if it is an attractive server. Just a couple hours earlier, my coffee was barely warm, and that had been after prepping it for the day for several hours Hot water is being added to the pot! In my experience, another thermal carafe from another brand can hold the same amount of volume (68oz), but that one feels extremely bulky and large for daily use I expected that to be the case with this one as well. When I saw the venera in person, I almost couldn't believe how sleek, elegant, and beautiful it is It holds an incredibly large amount of liquid, for how big it looks! This product has good thermal capabilities After about 6 hours, it's still warm enough to drink. I love the strainers so much they keep my tea at the perfect temperature for about three hours but after about six hours, it's still warm enough to drink. My green teas and oolong teas need a mesh type to expand for their flavors to come out properly, so the mesh teapot is ideal. It would be nice for them to be sold separately too, so that I can get I wish I could improve one or more of the following The wood on handle first peels over time, then the wood starts peeling again, and 3. 3. It's a smaller carafe, perfect for making one to two pots of tea. It's the perfect size for me to hold a pot of coffee when I am hosting, so I was thrilled to come across this larger carafe. I love it! That's for sure. From a historical standpoint, as well as from a functional and quality perspective. -Even found out that I did not need a brush to clean it since the opening was large enough for my hand to fit. -I even got to save money by not having to buy a special cleaning tool! Even though it turns out to not be very dramatic, if things become too complicated or time consuming, we might want to change them. If you stop using it, it stops working. Recently, I suggested that my husband serve coffee or tea during his meetings with his staff. Since everyone is short on time and energy (as we experienced during the recent economic crisis), he was reluctant to take part. In the end, he relented when he decided he wanted to at least show a small amount of appreciation to his coworkers. I bought this to use as a pouring pitcher. Inviting friends over coffee is a good way to engage them. Since the opening is quite large, I can reach inside to clean it (I can get my hand inside), but I have to get creative with how I rest the hive pour over on top. In order to rest my hand, I simply used two chopsticks. Despite its immense capacity, this table looks great on a table and is not too bulky to handle. The restaurant has already been commended by several guests. I have not had any issues with leakage or staining and the wood peeling like some other reviewers. The lid and spout area are made of hard plastic with a matte finish, and the rest is stainless steel with a white slightly textured finish on the outside. My wife has had it for a little less than a month, and I always ensure that the handle is dried The thing is that it is primarily used for serving coffee at breakfast, which is why it is usually empty within 30-minutes of when it is filled.
