I bought them after attempting to wax two snowboards without them. I found it difficult because you need to apply a great deal of pressure on the brushes to get a good result. I used these clamps to solve those issues. They fit perfectly over the edge of my kitchen counter, and I like that they have rubber pads at the bottom so they will not scratch the surface (you can add more sheet rubber if you are concerned about this). The boards are also embedded with rubber where the boards rest, so they do not slide The second time I waxed was much easier than the first. If you need to wax your snowboard or ski, I highly recommend these clamps.

I tuned skis and snowboards professionally from 1990 to 2005. In my previous role as a hand tuner, I performed thousands of them. It is the first vise I have purchased for home use, and I I used to use it in shops back then and it was better than most of them!.

This morning, I ordered these vises, and they arrived at 7 p. m. today. Snowboarding is something that I have a good base knowledge of since I have my CASI level 1 certification. Due to my cheap nature, I have been hand tuning my gear since 2013. I'm too cheap to pay $40 every time I need my board waxed and tuned at the resorts. In terms of value, they are fantastic. They were the most affordable pair I could find on Amazon, and they do exactly what you need them to do. They have been used to wax and tune my wife's skis as well as my snowboard, and I would definitely buy them again if they ever broke (a very unlikely event given that they are.

There are a lot of products out there that cost over a hundred bucks, but aren't as nice (ie, cheap and plasticky). This is a very good, inexpensive board wax and after waxing it for the first time, I am very happy with it. We had never even heard of Winterial before seeing the reviews, however, so we ordered. Excellent design, probably one of the best I've seen - This set is even more awesome than the one my brother made me back in high school!.
