These have proven to be a much better option for me since I was unable to find what I was doing with my Yaktracs when winter weather arrived. The Yaktracs have always been a favorite of mine, but these came at a cost that was far higher. After thinking about it for a while, I decided to give these a shot. Since I was on the border between sizes, I bought the larger pair, as pulling the Yaktracs the full length of my shoe was always a challenge. I am really loving these even though I'm not really sure I noticed any difference due to the larger size. It is so much easier to take these on and they function exactly the same, plus they came with a great carry bag, which is a great feature, and they have the back Since I am not having any trouble keeping these on, which was a bit of an issue with the Yaktracs, I have not used it yet. I am confident you won't be disappointed if you buy these.
During my trip to Quebec City, I purchased these shoes to allow me to run in the snow and ice. Neither disappointed nor let me down! I logged several miles in them and they held up well in both snow and ice. They adhered to my shoes quickly and are very easy to transport.

As long as you are only walking, they seem to hold up okay, but anything more than that and they'll ruin your day. One plus is that you can use the Velcro strap to prevent them from completely falling off. While playing in the snow with my kids, I added a Velcro strap, which made them much more stable in the snow. It was bright side that I did not slip once when they remained.

These made it safe to walk on icy sidewalks and driveways during an ice storm. We had sidewalks and driveways that were very slippery and these were very useful. Having trouble with the Velcro safety straps was the only issue I encountered. It was impossible to make them work because they were too short. It hasn't been a problem for me to use the cleats over my shoes. My cleats arrived just one day after I placed the order.
