Questions & Answers
Demon HQ produces these kits on a daily basis. Although packing errors do occur, the image depicts exactly what is included.
Yes. As you can see from the photos. Kits are reasonable in terms of value for money.
Yes, there is a switch on iron 110/220 (220 is for Europe and the rest of the world), but plugs are not included!
The kit does not include a cleaning solution, but there is enough space in the case for a 3oz bottle of base cleaner and either a 1 pound brick of wax or a base brush.

To begin, I'd like to point out that "halfNhalf"'s initial review of this product is inaccurate and misleading. Perhaps that review was accurate in 2017. br>This is no longer the case. Now for my opinion. br>br> It's a very nice set. The iron is rectangular in shape and has soft edges, just like a non-travel kit iron. Recessed dimples can also be found on the bottom. Aside from that, it's a standard kit; you get exactly what you see. There isn't much more I can say.
The money spent was not well spent. I'm curious as to why there are so many positive reviews because I found this kit to be extremely disappointing. br>br>The ironing board is the biggest problem I have with this kit. It's simply too small and shaped incorrectly. Demon deserves credit for designing a small and portable iron, but it's simply too small to be useful. The Dakine iron, which is rectangular with soft edges and a smooth bottom to make it easier to spread wax across my board, would be my choice; however, the iron's temperature dial is too small, stiff, and poorly marked to indicate ideal temperatures. The iron is so small that I couldn't even get my fingers underneath the handle to adjust the temperature knob, which was poorly designed. Regrettably, the dial lacks edge ridges that would provide a better grip when twisting the dial from the outside edge. The kit included a small block of wax labeled "all temperature wax," but it smelled like vanilla and was very soft. To me, it resembled a chunk of candle wax in appearance and feel. That's not something I'd put on my board. br>br>The edge tuner is poorly marked, and you have to look for the 90*/88* markers, which are tiny imprints in the white plastic. It's unnecessarily difficult to read, and you don't want to mess up those angles when tuning or de-tuning. Your board will be ruined if you don't tune the edges. br>br>Also, you'll need a magnifying glass for the instruction booklet because the print is microscopic and difficult to read. br>br>The scraper in the kit seemed fine, but I didn't use the rest because I was so disappointed in the iron. br>br> br>BENEFITSbr>- small -br>-br>-br>-br>- Easily transportable in a small casebr>- Brushes, scrapers, and p-types are among the many tools available. tex

It's what got me into ski tuning in the first place, and it comes with the majority of the necessary tools. Some of them will need to be replaced with higher-quality items in the future, and nylon brushes are completely absent. Aside from that, a good value for money product.
The product was missing the base cleaner and wax, and the iron was not the same as the one pictured (the kit came with a smaller iron rather than the square iron). I was offered a refund, but I didn't have enough time to wait for it and then buy another kit, so I kept it. The kit's contents were extremely useful.
I'm not sure how this stacks up against the. So it was my first time waxing my own board, so I watched some YouTube videos and used the tools to wax mine and my son's boards. I was able to remove all of the old wax, apply the new wax, and spread it evenly. In addition, I was able to fine-tune the edges, which were in desperate need of it. I can't compare it to the more expensive kits, but it included everything I needed to revive my board after three years on the shelf. All in all, a fantastic product that quickly pays for itself.
Simple to work with- To use the P-, you'll need a few more things. Tex. The edging tool I had was not as good as another one I had.
It does the job for a good wax and basic repairs, and it all fits into the bag easily. Since the ptex doesn't come with one, I recommend purchasing a nylon brush, an edge tuner, and a lighter. For $80, it's still a fantastic deal!.
