For a new waxer, this is a good kit

I was unsure what to buy as a novice when it came to waxing our skis and snowboards. I chose this kit because buying the items separately would have cost more than the kit's price. And every other kit I looked at had either way too much or none of the items I needed. So I went with this kit because of the price and the features I thought I needed. Although it contains more items than I required to begin waxing my own skis and snowboards, it has proven to be a useful tool, and I will continue to expand my kit as I gain experience and learn to tune. br>I only had enough wax for a couple of waxing jobs. Now is the time for me to go out and buy some wax!.

I have a separate sharpener with more grits, so I don't use this for sharpening accessories, but it works great for waxing and cleaning

The iron heats up quickly and it's simple to find the right temperature to heat the wax without it smoking. So far, I've used it twice, and the wax that comes with it is excellent and has caused no problems.

It's a good kit, but it's lacking in a few key components

This kit includes a lot of useful items, and the apron is even better than I expected. It's a shame that a brush set for after scraping isn't included. Overall, I'm satisfied, but for the kit price, a few more items or duplicates of certain items would be nice.

I don't have anything to compare it to because it's my first kit, but everything seems to work fine. It is simple to use. It would be nice if there were more ptex, but that's not a big deal. If you're looking for a wax kit, this is a good purchase.
