I needed a snowboard helmet for my wife recently, and Amazon had a lot of options. I ordered five different ones, all for less than $75, and this one was by far the nicest. Differences in major categories:
- On the inside, there is a fabric layer over the padding; most of the rest is just styrofoam. br> Ear pieces are much more pleasant to listen to and easier to understand. br>- The shell is thicker and adheres to the body better. A couple of the other helmets I ordered had very thin outer plastic shells, similar to those found on bike helmets. br>br>She didn't complain about wearing the helmet all day when we went snowboarding a few weeks ago. I would not hesitate to purchase another helmet from Vanrora if the need arose.

Because the ski rental package I purchased did not include a helmet, I ordered this helmet before my recent ski trip. The ski resort did, in fact, rent helmets for $10 per day. This helmet is fantastic, and I'm glad I bought it. I was hesitant to order a helmet online (without first trying it on) because I have a small head and was concerned that it would be too big. I followed the sizing instructions to the letter and ordered the correct size based on my measurements. It arrived in plenty of time for my trip and is exactly what I needed. I was able to adjust the back dial to ensure that it was snug but not too tight or uncomfortable on my head. On my head, it feels light and comfortable. When I wasn't wearing it, I almost forgot about it. It has a convenient strap in the back that you can use to secure your goggles. Fortunately, I didn't have to put it to the test by slamming my head on the ground, but I'm very pleased with it so far. The cool matte black finish was even mentioned by someone. I bought it because of three factors: (It's in the middle of the price range. ) Reviews, and Look/Features (not the cheapest or most expensive option), This helmet appears to be a good deal - For a fair price, you get high quality.

It came with a small storage bag, which I like. My most recent helmet order was for my son, and it came without a bag. While it's floating around in my ski bag, it's useful for protection. I've never before worn a white helmet. I usually choose black, but this time I chose white and was unsure what to expect from the finish. The helmet, in my opinion, is fantastic! It has a simple exterior design that isn't particularly fancy. The air vents work great and keep my goggles from fogging up, and they're simple to turn off if you need to stay warm. When I'm skiing, I get very hot, so I appreciate how easy it is to vent. The level of comfort is definitely a five-star rating. This past weekend, I used it for a full day of skiing and had no lingering effects from rubbing or a bad stitch poking me in the head. The chin strap is simple to clip on, and the padding on the strap is far superior to that of my previous helmet. There's no rubbing or poking this time, just a solid, padded strap. This product and its creator have both exceeded my expectations. My son owns a pair of their goggles, which have proven to be excellent. We appear to have another winner in the ski gear category after using this helmet for one weekend!.

This helmet is black and comes in a medium size. For the record, I am a 65-year-old woman. 5 feet tall and 133 pounds I looked at the sizing chart and determined that I would fit into a small, but I ordered a medium instead. I really like this helmet, and the price was excellent! So far, I've worn this helmet about 5 times (on both cold and snowy days, as well as warm days). I can wear this helmet with or without my beanie because the back knob allows for precise tightening and loosening of the helmet. The helmet is light and comfortable, and I can wear it all day without it feeling heaving or bothering my head or neck. Because my helmet and earmuffs stay in place and keep my head and ears warm, I no longer require my beanie. The top-of-the-helmet venting is also excellent (you can close or open it). On cold or wet days, the helmet kept me dry and warm, and on hot days, it kept me cool. My Boelle goggles are extremely comfortable to wear, and the goggle strap snap never comes undone. My daughter's helmet is from a different brand, and it's awful. I'm overjoyed with my purchase of this helmet; it's perfect!.

The top venting and the ability to adjust the tightness with a dial in the back are the best features of this helmet. I 100% would recommend it to anyone. At Lutsen in Minnesota, I had my fair share of spills, and this held up well!.

The Giro is more comfortable; if you press it against your head, it feels like a bike helmet, and you can feel non-slip. It's all soft. That was not the case with the giro. br>However, when not pressing against the head, it's fine. br>This leads me to believe that on impact, it'll hurt more, but it'll still do the job. br>br>Ear pads aren't as nice as giro, but they should suffice. br>br>The box contained some foam prices; did they start to fall apart before you used them? br>I couldn't figure out where that came from, but everything appears to be in working order. br>br>For the price, it appears to be a good deal; I'll update if anything changes after I use it.

- update after a couple of ski daysbr>I wore it slightly looser than others and it was fine; for a while, I had it fairly tight and it was uncomfortable in the upper back part, but it was still tight enough to stay put. It'd be better if it was a little more constrained. br>The ear pads were comfortable and warm, which was ideal on a cold day. I took them off because it was a warm day. The instructions said to "pull," and that was correct, but you had to pull really hard, making sure to grab the gripping plastic part. It seemed a little rough at first, but it worked out in the end. I'll make an update if something goes wrong. So far, everything has gone according to plan. There are a few minor details, but overall, it is a good value for money.
