I'm from Tahoe, so my helmets get a lot more use than the average ski tourist's. I adore this helmet. It's comfortable, but I have a narrow/long head, so finding a good fit can be challenging. I was on the verge of switching from M to L mode. M was the right choice because it is snug/perfect front to back; L would have allowed adjustment front to back but would have bounced around side to side; YRMV because you probably have a different shaped head. The boa adjustment is excellent, and the overall comfort is also excellent. I've worn the helmet in temperatures ranging from the low 20s to the high 50s, and only use the vents when it gets too hot. br>br>When it comes to goggle fit, I primarily use Smith 4D Mags, so the fit is excellent. But I've also tried them with a variety of other goggle brands, and they're all good; the back goggle retainer is super easy to use and keeps the goggles in place. br>br>It looks great and isn't as bulky or awkward as some helmets. I've attached a photo of this, as well as how the 4D Mag and goggles fit together. The only disadvantage of this helmet, on paper, is its weight. It has a heavier weight than other high-end lids. In practice, however, I am unable to distinguish between the two. I've never gotten home from a day on the mountain and thought to myself, "Man, I wish I had a lighter helmet!" " Non- I believe there is a problem with this. br>br>I suppose the other disadvantage is the cost; this is not a cheap helmet, but you get what you pay for. MIPS, MIPS, MIPS, MIPS, MIPS, MIPS, MIPS, MIPS, MIPS, MIPS, MIPS, MIPS, MIPS, MIPS Without a doubt, this is the best helmet I've ever worn, and it's well worth the money.
The helmet is light, with a simple fit system, plenty of ventilation, and a unique magnetic chin strap. Given the benefits this helmet provides in terms of safety, the cost was a steal. I ordered the Smith Bluetooth speakers, which will fit in the included ear covers, and will review them later. The seller sent it right away, but it took three days for me to receive it. This is an excellent piece of equipment, and the seller is also deserving of five stars.
I've only recently received the helmet and have yet to put it to the test. However, the fit is excellent, and it is extremely light. The color scheme is fantastic, and the helmet is of excellent overall quality. The adjustable vent system (separate intake and exhaust vents that open and close) works well, and I expect it to keep me as cool or warm as I require depending on the weather. The chin strap is simple to put on and feels very secure, and the BOA-style adjustable BOA-style adjustable BOA-style adjustable BOA-style adjustable BOA-style adjustable BOA-style adjustable BO The helmet can be adjusted to fit your head perfectly thanks to the style system.
A helmet is a helmet, and this one is good as far as helmets go. br>I purchased it because I desired the best possible protection. I visited a large resort with some friends who had a large group of children. I noticed that all of the children's helmets had the same safety features (e. g. , e. g. , e. g. , e. g. , MIPS) that the Quantum was capable of. It has more vents than any other helmet I've seen, but I rarely get hot enough to use them. br>Overall, it's a cool helmet that you don't see many people wearing, and it has all of the latest safety technology, but you can get the same level of protection for a lot less money.
This is my third Quantum helmet, and it's a good price. The fit is excellent, and there are numerous vents. With the speaker compatibility, you should always ski with music on. Shipping was very quick. So far, this is the lowest price.
I'm not one to leave reviews on the internet, but this one piqued my interest. This helmet is nice, but after two tries, I've come to the conclusion that it's not for me. The zipper that keeps your tech gear in place is extremely difficult to open and close. Then it creases during use or right after closing, and it opens up. Because the zipper is of poor quality, your tech gear may fall out or become wet. Also, those with a fuzzy thumb on their gloves for whipping off their wet goggles should be aware that the material may stain the matte finish. I learned the hard way, and it's completely bizarre, but it's true nonetheless.
Great helmet, as with all of the Smith helmets we've purchased over the years, it fits my son perfectly. I have faith in technology and believe that this is the best we can do to keep my son's head safe while he skis like a teenager. The venting is pleasant, but the top vent switch appears to be stuck; hopefully, as it is used, it will move more easily.
In comparison to other Smith helmets I've worn, I believe the size is fairly accurate. The magnetic strap is very nice, and the ratcheting size adjustment is very easy to figure out and use. I am a 58/59, but the Med sz still had plenty of room to snug more tightly. My Zeal goggles matched the contour and fit perfectly, with no gaps in the wind. It even helped me to carry less weight. br> in the form of dollars However, I have no complaints because it was well worth it in the end.
