It's unlikely, in my opinion. It's a little on the slim side, which is ideal for someone with a slim to average head.
Most aftermarket audio systems can be used with the Giro Ledge Helmet's ear pads.
Yes, the ear pads can be taken out. When I go biking or skateboarding, I take them off and wear the helmet. The back goggle clip can also be taken off. This is an excellent helmet.

I bought both a Giro Ledge and a Smith Holt, and I went with the Ledge over the Holt for the following reasons: br>br>**My head measures 60 cm, but I'm a slim guy, so the Medium size from both models fits me perfectly; the Large size is much too big. 1. *
br> Ledge is slimmer in general than Holt, particularly on the sides: The sides of the Holt are rounded, whereas the Ledge is almost straight. Ledge is also shorter in height and has a lighter feel on the head. 2. br>br>1. br>br>br>br>br>br Quality: Despite being less expensive than the Holt, the Ledge has a higher level of detail quality. One of Holt's ear pieces became loose when I pulled the ear pieces down to put on the helmet, and it can easily be pulled out with a few tries. In addition, for the benefit of the press Ledge's size adjustment strap has a positive and solid snap, whereas Holt's is more difficult to push in and out and has no clear snap. 3. br>br>4. br>br>5. br>br>6. An ear piece that is a little bit thinner. The ear pieces on Ledge are much thinner than those on Holt, making it easier to hear things and possibly feeling cooler on hotter days. They're both comfortable, it's just a matter of taste. 4. br>br> Clip for the goggles: The one on Holt is a larger unit with a more solid construction than Ledge's, but Ledge's can hold the strap just as well and is easier to bend to pull in and out. br>br>However, I believe the Holt is more fashionable. The Ledge appears to be rather uninteresting. In terms of fit, they're both great, though I think the Ledge is a little tighter.
When wearing a beanie, it's a little tight, but it'll do. I ordered a medium, which is the size of the Giro bike helmet I normally wear. The self-cleaning feature is built right in. The adjusting tension strap snaps into place under the helmet liner and can be adjusted to three different positions. To get it to work over the goggles and face mask, I had to loosen it to the largest setting. It has a sleek, stylish appearance and a low profile, as well as excellent ventilation. The Smith Squad XL was used in these photos. The fit appears to be fairly seamless.
It's a good fit and a good price. This helmet was purchased to protect me while learning to snowboard; I ordered a small and it fits perfectly! I wore a beanie underneath it because I was worried it wouldn't keep my head warm enough on the slopes, but honestly, the insulation in the helmet would have kept my head warm enough. I fell on my face and hit my head during my last run of the day. Because I was wearing this helmet, everything worked out fine, and I felt very safe the entire time I was slipping and falling. It feels very sturdy and adjusts easily, and it's also a fantastic price! This is a helmet that I would strongly recommend!.
I can't believe how cheap this helmet is; it looks fantastic. It looks and feels great. It's extremely relaxing. Helmets aren't something I'm unfamiliar with. For my job as a ski instructor, I wear one for at least six months of the year. I have access to a variety of discounted helmets, but I paid full price for this one simply because it is a fantastic option with excellent styling. I had my doubts about a non-profit organization. This system is similar to the Boa retention system, but it works much better and is more comfortable. I know I'll look good wearing this helmet the next time I hit a tree while playing football skiing.
The chair slammed into the back of my head and knocked me unconscious. I realized it was my helmet when I heard a loud bang. The top of the helmet was scratched a little by the chair. Because of this helmet, I'm in good shape. I'm glad I splurged on the $30 helmet rather than the $20 one. This model appealed to me because of the removable ear pads, which keep my ears warm in the winter. A small clip for your goggles is also included in the back. If you don't want your skull to break, get this helmet:.
So, there you have it. I've never owned another ski helmet. This one, on the other hand, fit perfectly, was warm and comfortable, the goggles stayed in place without fogging, and best of all - it was affordable. On my second run, when I went over backwards on my board and slammed my head against the slope, it paid for itself. "No big deal, I'm wearing a helmet," I reasoned as I fell backwards. " And, sure enough, it kept my head safe and didn't hurt in the least.
The ease with which headphones can be inserted into the ear pieces is a fantastic feature. I was able to use it with goggles, and the sizing was accurate.
I chose the medium over the large because it's a little more snug, but I'm not sure if the large would be too big. Overall, it's a nice-looking helmet that does the job of keeping your head warm while doing so. On Amazon, I purchased a pair of Outdoor Gear snowboard goggles, which match this helmet perfectly. Fairly priced and comparable in quality to my friend's Smith brand Holt style helmet, which I ride with on a regular basis. This one appears to be a tad more appealing!.
