In an emergency, I purchased a second pair of these mitts. I assumed I'd like them so much that I'd buy a second pair. However, once you've worn them for a while, you'll notice that they Insulate your loft. While skiing in Colorado, where the temperature dropped to 10 degrees, my fingers became extremely cold. These mitts don't hold a candle to my Gordini down mitts, one of which I unfortunately lost.
