Questions & Answers

Do these look like they'd be suitable for riding a motorcycle?

You can wear whatever you want, but proper motorcycle gloves are made of abrasion-resistant leather, such as kangaroo leather, and are stitched in a different way with much stronger material. Nylon wrapped in cotton or Kevlar is the most common material. In a collision, ordinary gloves will shatter like paper. It's also a natural human reaction to extend your hands. My recommendation is to invest in quality motorcycle gloves.

Is tan a shade of yellow or a shade of tan?

Mine have a tan color to them rather than yellow.

In the winter, would these be suitable for work? If not, what type of hestra glove would you recommend?

These are ski gloves, so they'll probably wear out faster than you'd like if you use them as work gloves. There are Hestra Job gloves that might be more suitable - It's possible that the Kobolt WinterFlex CZone gloves would be a better fit.

Where do these come from?

This is what the tits look like. I'm serious. These are called titties in the English language. When my AKs wore out, I promised myself a nice pair of gloves, so I did some digging and found these. I have a thing for nice gear as a gear snob and long-time snowboader. I live in the Denver metro area and try on everything I can in the area, as well as buying and returning a lot of things online. I've gone through a lot of jackets and gloves this season because I only want the best, but as soon as I put these on, I went out and bought another pair for my brother as an early Christmas present. That's how pleasant they are to be around. Extremely hot. Dexterity and articulation are both exceptional. The feel of leather is pleasant. Leather cream is included to keep the leather in good shape. Oh my goodness, this is amazing. Use the size chart; it's accurate; however, I'm 6' 185 pounds and wear a size 7. My brother, who is 6'4" and 280 pounds, was a perfect fit for size 10 surgical gloves.

It's not waterproof, and it's barely water resistant

Then they're almost instantly soaked. I can see how these gloves would be excellent work gloves if you were only doing 'work' in extremely cold temperatures, but marketing them as ski/snowboard gloves is a mistake, because snow contact is unavoidable! If you don't believe me, try running them under the faucet for 5 seconds. Forget about the 30-minute ice bucket challenge that some gloves are put to. Simply submerge these in the sink for 5 seconds and see what happens. Even calling these gloves "water-resistant" is a lie. tenacious They're about the same size as a drop of water. a bath towel's resistance.

Gloves are excellent, but they do require some preparation
5/5

These are great gloves for everyday snowboarding, and I have mitts for when it gets really cold. On a daily basis, however, everything is fine. On most days, I try not to dig my hands into the snow, but I've had no problems. They must be prepared before being used for the first time. Use the small amount of conditioner that comes with them! Wet the gloves a little and work the conditioner into them with a cloth rag. After that, dry them with a quality glove dryer. To remove the tackiness, use a wet rag and then dry. The beads are now easily dipped in water. I wouldn't call them waterproof, but they're more than capable in the snow. We'll have to wait and see how long it lasts. It'll be fine if they make it through a season with me. I'd tell anyone I ride with about them. POW, Howl, and Dakine are all on the list.

What you pay for is exactly what you get
5/5

Every year when the New England winter arrives, I have the same ol' complaint: "ugh, I need to get myself a really good pair of gloves. " This summer, in preparation for the cold, I did my research. I finally decided on these Hestra fall line winter gloves and ordered them on Cyber Monday. When they arrived and I tried them on, it was obvious that these were the best pair of gloves I'd ever tried! In every way, this is a high-quality item. The leather is excellent, and it doesn't hold back on reminding you of the wonderful smell of genuine leather. It also checks all of the other boxes that a good pair of winter gloves should have. The bottom line is that you definitely get what you pay for, even if it is a little pricey.

I've never worn a pair of gloves as comfortable as these
5/5

This pair of gloves is amazing. When I first tried them on in a Patagonia store, I knew I had to have them. At the time, I couldn't justify spending $145 on gloves, so when they went on sale for $80 on Amazon, I knew I had to get them. They fit as expected after I followed Hestra's sizing guide. br>br>I've used these gloves while skiing in a variety of conditions, and they've always kept my hands toasty and warm. The liner is also extremely smooth and comfortable. I've only had them for a few years, but they still look brand new, so I expect them to last a long time, especially given Hestra's reputation for quality.

The gloves are fantastic
5/5

Gloves that are deadly. They are my favorite. They're really warm, not for sub-zero temperatures or anything, but they're really warm otherwise, and the dexterity they give you is great; I literally tied my shoes with them. When my mittens got too hot on my last ski trip to Vail, I used these. If you get sweaty, just remember to dry them inside. Also, make certain that they are waterproof. They aren't lined with anything waterproof.

The gloves are of exceptional quality
5/5

These gloves are well-made, attractive, and comfortable. Anyone in need of warm winter gloves for skiing or other outdoor activities should definitely consider purchasing these. SIZING IS AN ESSENTIAL FEATURE. These are on the small side! My hand measures between a 9 and a 10 on their sizing scale, and I am 6'3". The 10 was a little too tight for my liking (it did fit on my hand, but it felt too compressed). So I purchased a size 11 and they are a perfect fit. As a result, these gloves cost me a total of 1. Since my hand "measured" between 9 and 10 sizes, I went down five sizes.

The Best Leather Gloves for Outdoor Recreation
5/5

Top- the- outdoor recreation gloves made of line leather A feeling of security. Craftsmanship is a grade that a person receives for their ability to create something. A+ for quality. Hestra Original Leather Balm, wrist straps, and a carabiner to connect the gloves are included in the package. To keep the gloves' softness and water-repellent surface, apply the balm to them. Gloves are available in a variety of colors and sizes. I've never owned a pair of gloves like these. Don't be satisfied with mediocre results. The best gloves are those made by Hestra.
