At or near 0 degrees Fahrenheit, the gloves function and keep hands warm. I haven't had a chance to test them at lower temperatures yet. It's important to remember that as the temperature drops below zero, no single-finger gloves will keep hands completely warm, and you'll need to rely on other methods, such as mittens, to keep your hands warm.

I bought these gloves for a four-day ski trip and they were fantastic. To judge performance, you must consider the price, as with anything else. I was blown away by the quality at this price point. Two of the days were in the middle of the week. The glove performed admirably in the 30s. Hands got a little chilly on the lifts, but they were fine otherwise. br>br>One of the days was described as "the most miserable day on the mountain of your life," with temperatures as low as 15°F at the base, blizzard snow, and temperatures as high as 40°F. Wind gusts of up to 50 miles per hour. MOST OF THE TIME, I had pretty good hands. Above the tree line, where temperatures can drop into the negatives and there's nothing to block the wind, these gloves struggled. With the gloves on, there was a moment when I was concerned about frostbite, but as I got closer to the base, my hands quickly warmed up. br>br>My only complaint about the quality is that the pull string ends are easily detached. I tied a knot in the cords after pulling them through the caps. The issue has been resolved. br>br>Conclusion: br>br> If you're prone to cold hands or will be working in harsh conditions, it might be worth your time to look for gloves that are specifically rated for sub-zero temperatures. There are no zero conditions. I would give it a 15* rating despite the lack of an advertised rating. That's a fantastic deal for under $20, and I'm very happy with it.
This is an excellent pair of winter gloves. I think they should put a wrist strap on them so they don't fall off. In the cold, these gloves will keep your hands toasty warm. The finger tips of these gloves are their weak point. In extremely cold weather, the cold begins to seep in through the finger tips. I haven't tried them out yet on the slopes. I've worn them in a variety of temperatures and spent at least 30 minutes outside each time. br>At 31 degrees Fahrenheit - At 17 degrees F, my hands stayed nice and warm. br> At 5 degrees F - the hands stayed nice and warm, but the cold started to seep in at the finger tips. br> The gloves let the cold in through the finger tips and aren't as effective as they should be.
nice and toasty fingers: )br>br>I needed some warm gloves to keep my hands warm during the cold winter months when I'm outside for longer periods of time. br>br>These AKASO Ski Gloves caught my eye. Windproof Waterproof Breathable Winter Gloves for Men, 3M Thinsulate Insulated Warm Snow Gloves Womenbr>br>Arrived just in time for sub-zero temperatures 12- It's 25 degrees outside, and the windchill makes it feel even colder. br>br>I spent about 30-45 minutes on this project. After 45 minutes of clearing snow and ice from the cars, neither my hand nor my fingers froze up like the other gloves. I like how the gloves cover my sleeves for a better seal, preventing snow from getting around my wrist. br>br>No sweaty hands, and the gloves kept them dry. I could easily grip a large snow scraper. br>br>I was also out on the icy roads, and even though it was raining, the gloves were not soaked, and they kept my fingers warm until I got inside, and the material allowed them to dry quickly. I wouldn't put your gloves in a bucket of water, but they are definitely waterproof. However, for everyday use, such as shoveling snow and snowball fights; ) long days spent outside working, and a hunting trip with some friends Excellent investment! br>br> I'm hoping they'll be around for a long time. If the gloves' quality deteriorates as a result of normal use, I'll provide an update.
does it make people feel good? These are for my stepson, and I recently purchased them. We have a tense relationship at best, and he wanted snow gloves so he could play in the snow for hours in relative comfort. So I go to Amazon and start looking for something to help us bridge the gap. I was looking for gloves that were under $25 because I was on a tight budget. These appeared and passed the most important test of waterproofness. The gloves looked appealing and were long enough to cover the sleeves of a jacket when I looked at them online. They were also reasonably priced. They looked just as good in person as they did in photos when they arrived. They appear to be well-made as well. They also work well together. My stepson has taken to them so far (I'm sure he's not supposed to know) and is looking forward to putting them to the ultimate test when it snows. These gloves will not only keep your hands dry and warm, but they may also be exactly what you need to get your relationship with your stepson back on track.
In addition, I have a HORRIBLE CS background. This pair of gloves is quite substantial. They're so thick and bulky that they're impeding finger movement: When I wear these gloves, it's difficult for me to bend my fingers. Not only are they smaller than I had anticipated (I had already ordered the Red color gloves in the largest L/XL size - Please see the attached photos for proof), and they are also not touchable. Not at all screen friendly. To use the screen on my cellphone, I need to remove the gloves from my hands. BTW, I haven't worn them outside yet, and they're still brand new, so I can't give an accurate assessment of their quality performance; However, the fact that these gloves are so bulky and yet so restrictive does not impress me. So, if they have them, I'm going to get the larger size gloves. When I emailed AND attached the same photos above to AKASO (Seller) Customer Service to request an exchange, the rep played a game with me; She first inquired about my order, my full name, and even my mailing address (all of which I promptly provided), and then the next email simply stated that I should return these gloves to Amazon directly. What? So, why did she waste my time in the first place by asking for all of my personal details? I don't know, but the seller's customer service department is neither professional nor helpful. Regrettably, I've decided to send them back and look for gloves from other companies that can provide me with better service.
They don't keep my hands any warmer than a pair of unlined fleece gloves, and the weather has only been 30 degrees at worst. I stand outside directing traffic at a local high school, and they have failed to keep my hands warm so far this Fall. I dread the winter, when I'll have to stand in the cold for 30 minutes in temperatures below zero! Bummer! However, they have a good fit and finish, earning them a generous three stars.
