The SkaterAid ICE is a new product for 2020 that guides and assists children in learning to ice skate.

Is it true that the white and blue pieces should come with pre-drilled holes? On ours, we're the only ones in white?

Only the two thicker pvc pipes at the bottom have a hole. To adjust the height of the unit, you press the spring loaded buttons on both pipes at the same time to raise and lower the thinner pipes. When it comes to adjusting, it's easier to do so with two people. I hope this has been of assistance.

This winter, our friends in the mountains an hour away from us are experiencing flooding in their backyards, and my six and ten-year-old children are experiencing it as well. Skaters under the age of eighteen are unable to skate. I found this product on Amazon because I was looking for something simple to assemble and transport. We put it through its paces last weekend and found it to be incredibly simple to put together. The instructions were very clear on the inside. We've tried a lot of skate trainers with our older kids over the years, and this one appears to "have it all. " We have some available for rent at our community ice center in south Florida, but they're all too short, and my youngest (who is only ten years old) was constantly hunched over. We still have one more setting to go up with this one, but my favorite part is that the top center point acts as a sort of handle for me to grab onto - assisting in the guidance of my daughter and maintaining a close relationship With everyone so close, it seems to boost her confidence. Love it!.

I was blown away by how well it worked for my 7-year-old son

I'm learning to skate on the ice! Over the summer, we used one of their roller skating trainers, and my daughter has decided that she wants to learn to ice skate and possibly play hockey this winter. I purchased one of these ice trainers to assist her in becoming more comfortable on the ice, and it has proven to be very effective. It glides smoothly across the ice and has an adjustable height, so her older sister can use it as well. When I was teaching my older son to skate, I wish we'd had one of these!.
