Great product, but the sizing is based on shoe size rather than ice skate size

I expected this to be sized according to ice skate size, but it's actually based on shoe size; however, the product is quite nice. It appears to be well-made and sturdy. It had to be returned twice for a different size, but the third time was the charm. I'm a size 9 in women's shoes. In shoes, the 10 fits snugly (but not painfully). The blades are ready to use right out of the box. Because I'm new to ice skating, I couldn't tell if they needed to be sharpened more or not. I took them to a lake in Vermont, and the skates performed admirably, despite my clumsiness due to age. I didn't worry about my ankles because I felt secure.

I used these for the first time this past weekend and found them to be a little tight in the width department, but I liked them otherwise

They're a little snug (in terms of width), but that's how they're supposed to fit. I'd only ice skated twice before (once as a child and once last year), but I was able to skate in these. I'm excited to get back on the ice!.

I'm completely smitten with these skates. I'm a size 6 shoe. I ordered a size 7 because I was a size 5 shoe. I was concerned about the skates' width, but they were a perfect 7W when they arrived.

Wide-footed people will find these skates to be very comfortable, and beginners will find them to be excellent skates

Excellent quality and a lovely skate. They were only $8 to have sharpened. This is an excellent skate for beginners, and I appreciate how soft the material is. Because my feet are wide, these skates are very comfortable for me.

This pair of skates is stunning. Roces is a dependable brand at a reasonable price, and these shoes fit my wide feet perfectly. They're a little stiff, but that's what you should expect from a skate. The more help you can get, the better. In the morning, your ankles will be grateful. I haven't sharpened them yet, but they're still superior to arena skates straight out of the box. The only drawback is that it took over three months for them to arrive. The wait was well worth it.
