Questions & Answers
The skates are pre-sharpened at the factory.
I'm not sure what the rating is, but they're used by my 13-year-old daughter, who is still learning to skate. There's more support than rental skates, but it's not as stiff as a child's skate.
The blade covers are missing from these skates.
Heidi, how are you? To get your skate size, you should typically go down 1/2 to 1 full size from your shoe size; however, there are other considerations. If you have a very wide foot, for example, you may need to size up to get the extra width you need; if your foot is a medium width, however, you may need to size down. If you don't have any shoe-fitting issues, you should be able to stick to that rule. According to our chart, if your longest foot is 9 5/16" long, you should wear size 6, and if your longest foot is 9 7/16" long, you should wear size 6. It's impossible to say exactly what size you need because there are so many variables to consider. It's possible that you'll have to make do with our best guess. If the fit isn't right, you might be able to exchange it. I hope you've found this information to be beneficial. Jackson Ultima Skates, Best Regards, Customer Service

This is the third time we've ordered a pair of these skates. My 8-year-old son finds them to be more or less comfortable. year- They are well made and durable; we've had some skates fall apart before, and these will serve you for a long time; the kids will outgrow them before they break. We were able to pass these down to the younger girl when the older one outgrew them because I have two girls who both skate. Made to be of high quality.
Very uncomfortable, and it put a lot of pressure on a strange spot on my arch. I was hoping they'd break in, but they're incredibly difficult to break in. I've had them for a year and despise them. Because these were painful, I went back to my old pair.
I bought these for my 9-year-old daughter, who is a size 1 shoe. 2 in normal shoes We ordered a size 2 skate for her (based on fit and other reviews), but she finds them too uncomfortable to wear. The skates themselves are stunning, and she fell in love with them right away. We will order a larger size, and I will update the review after the first pair arrives. br>(We are aware that ice skates should be a tight fit. ).
My daughter is very pleased with her new skates. She's been taking lessons for a month now, and it's a lot easier for her to put on her skates and jump on the ice than it was before, when we had to rent skates and wait in line. It's been a lot easier now that I've got the Jackson Figure Skates.
The skates are really cool. Order a size larger than usual.
These lace up nicely (albeit with far too long laces) and provide adequate support for at least the first few iterations of skating lessons. She can perform swizzles and begin skating backwards. She makes no mention of the stiffness she experienced in another beginner pair by Jackson. I have a 6-year-old in the same pair, but she is a smaller size, and neither of them has expressed any dissatisfaction. They were also razor-sharp when they arrived. Sharpening was suggested as a last resort by the instructors.
When I bought two pairs of these ice skates, I decided to take a leap of faith. This is the first year that both of my daughters have been on ice. Both love their skates and have reportedly adjusted well after wearing them. On their feet, ankles, and shins, there were no calluses or redness. I would highly recommend these skates because their instructors have complimented them on how well they move on the ice.
I hadn't skated in over 30 years and had never heard of this brand, but when I went to get them sharpened before using them (as recommended by someone who skates frequently), I noticed they sold them at the ice rink where I was sharpening them. So I guess they're a good brand; they seemed well-made and comfortable while I was wearing them.
