To tie it off, we hook it in near the back of the boat near the tie off lines.
When I use it on my Boston Whaler with an 8-foot beam, I place an Airhead booster ball between the two harnesses and the tube so the rope stays out of the water. It works great!

From the boat to the actual tow rope, this is the connection. You cannot connect this to a tube or anything like that.
This was the best purchase I've ever made- Those hooks do not connect to the pontoon eyelet, the rope goes through the eyelet, then the hook connects to a loop in the rope) I tried it, it worked great, such a dunderhead I am. In my opinion, others ought to read this and use it in this manner as it is intended. I agree with other reviews that Amazon does not provide instructions on how to use the software.
OK. Doesn't matter to me how long it is. It would be great to use these clips in place of the ones in the picture. It takes a 5/16 stainless marine clevis to capture the hook on the clevis, and I then insert the clevis through the pontoon hole. In my opinion, using the rope through the pontoon hole to attach the clip to the rope loop would put to much stress and wear on the rope, besides being a tight fit and it is much simpler to use the hook while in the water or leaning over the back.
You won't move the clip if you are able to thread it through a Join Amazon today Take a photo with the appropriate caption! Unlike the rest of the hook, the end of the hook does not attach. There are sure to be extra towables there It is not as easy as it appears on the outside. This line catches my eye. I hope these companies make the hooks a little bit bigger in the middle. Almost every one I've tried is difficult to clip on the pontoon boats of today. I like this one because it at least fits through the pontoon The system, however, is cumbersome and involves a lot of It appears the hooks are not moveable when attached, just as others have suggested. If I wanted a 'fun' ride, I'd want the clips swinging with my pontoon boat! I only pull children on my pontoon, but I can see myself swinging with those clips if I wanted a more 'fun' ride! This is a good quality product. It's not my fault the hook picture was taken by Amazon. It's great to work with them. The only reason I am not sending it back is that I'm not feeling like it.
A few reviews said the hooks would not fit the eyelets on the aluminum pontoon, which almost convinced me not to purchase. This was the best purchase I've ever made- It appears that the hooks are not connected to the eyelets on the pontoon. In this case, the rope goes through an eyelet and thereafter is connected to a loop in the rope by a hook.
You should pick these if you have a tri-pod You may use a tube or a toon to pull a skier. By distributing the weight between your child and the boat, you are able to pull them better and maneuver it more efficiently, making the trip more enjoyable for everyone on the boat and the kids you are pulling along. I like how easy it is to hook up and how durable the hooks are.
This is the measurements I ordered. I thought they measured 16' from the boat out to the end of the dock. There are 16' in width and not much in length. It measures 16' hook to hook.
Our water pull toys have been working well with this sturdy product. The rope I selected was only long enough for the length and needed a stationery hook to attach it. In contrast, if the hook on the product had been attached to a pulley or swivel, I would have given it 4 stars rather than 3.
