It's great that the stainless connector works so well. It is possible to put 5/8 rope in a loop through the hole to secure it. This is an extremely well thought out solution. There are also 5/8" cords available, but I wish they were also 5/8. ". I think that will be a weakness.

A great product at an exceptional price. It appears to be quite well constructed, with no sharp edges on the metal components, stitched and rubber covered rope splicing, and nothing that could be described as cheap. It is a product I will definitely use again, should it need to be replaced at any time.

The cleat on the back of my pontoon is where I hook this up to. After running the ski rope through the little hole, I go around the hooks with it. No matter where you put the rope, it will remain. All the parts are easily detachable, and it appears to be very durable and well made. There is a lot of strength in the rope and the hook attached. If you plan to store it on your boat, let it dry out first. This is a great.
