It hurts when hard plastic tension straps go behind your ears. They're supposed to fit behind your ears, but I don't have luck with them. There may be a problem with my head fitting inside the helmet. My goal is to notch and smooth out the plastic strap, but I don't want to damage or weaken it in the process. It may be possible to pad, wrap, glue foam on or add plush duct tape to it in order to make it more comfortable. It can't be returned since I have already gone kayaking with it and scratched it in the process. The latches on the protective case for the cell phone are absurd.
