when it starts to rain They're dripping water all over the car! The roof rack pads are fantastic. It's simple to put on and take off, and it's built to last. Everything is fine. However, after driving with them on several times during rainstorms, I was not pleased. They leak water into the car regardless of how loose or tight you secure them. Not in the least. However, a LOT. A major flaw in the design. This is an excellent suggestion. When completely dry, this product is fantastic. When it's raining, it's the worst.
This supple roof rack is a dream to use. It's very simple to work with. It's simple to clean and store in the nylon bag. I can now take my kayak wherever I want!.
I like how simple it is. It's where I keep my kayak when I'm not on the water. Just keep in mind that if you use it and pull the straps through your car's doors, you're breaking the seal, which means that if you get caught in the rain, water will leak into your vehicle.
Everything is right in front of you! Thank you so much, STIVIN!.
This arrangement is extremely effective. My kayak was very stable even when I sped up to 75 mph. Two 8-foot straps are permanently attached to each pad/rail. The rail is held to the roof by one strap, while the load is held by the other. The two straps are linked together. As a result, the load is extremely safe.
It gets the job done in a pinch, but it's not as thick or long as it should be.
On this product, I was able to transport two kayaks safely and easily. br>br>Quality product that is simple to install on its own.
