The straps are long enough to fit properly and are very quick and durable. It's not clear why people will complain that the ropes are 'too stiff' or 'too strong' since that's exactly what I want to use on my car as straps to keep something in place. In case they become too short, I bought a longer strap (I think the 15 inch). As a recommendation, I would say.

Temporary, I strung two straps on the kayak With the fifteen footers I bought, I was able to attach them to my trailer with no problems. They're easy to use and a little bit heavier than I anticipated, but they work as advertised. I was happy with the speed of delivery.

They keep my paddle board firmly in place on top of my car when I use them. It is great to have rubber bumpers around the metal parts so they don't scratch anything. It is great that they have a range of lengths as well!.

Using straps or hardware that is overly stiff makes work difficult

It would have been wise to buy the NRS. Although they seem sturdy, there are also extra stiff straps and hardware on these, so maybe that is what you are I find it inconvenient to use with kayaks, and is an unnecessary burden for me.

Strong enough for not too many people. There is a bit of a problem getting the strap through the adjustment/lock The belt appears to be very secure, and it has no problem being tightened.

I've used them for two couple hour trips over the past month and they still look brand new. We also like that the rubber is a soft material that doesn't scratch our cars or kayaks and the extra loop makes storing them easy.

The app works on my Toyota IM 2018 when I surf the web. Since I have Racks on top, it makes the most sense to use them this way. The straps are high-quality, as are the lock and the latch.
