Easily fits and aids in the carrying of an Oru kayak at a fraction of the cost of the cover sold for carrying, especially when all you need is a strap to carry if a longer walk is required to reach a remote waterway or inlet.
It's a well-crafted strap. However, it was too small for my Drift SUP board, and I needed to add an extension to make it fit.
First, the straps that go around the board are too short; I could just barely buckle them after extending them all the way. My board measures 34" wide by 6" deep and is inflatable. I had to fiddle with the strap placement on the board, making sure the straps weren't wrapped around the board's widest points, where the buckles were several inches from closing. To do so, I had to space them as far apart as possible, which meant the slack in the upper portion where you put it over your head/shoulder was gone entirely. So I had to loosen up the upper straps that go over the shoulder in order to get it to fit over my head. During the long walk from the car to the launch point and back, the strap became quite uncomfortable. Also, one of the upper straps is twisted, which didn't affect its usability but may indicate a lack of quality control on the manufacturer's part. The board hangs only a few inches above the ground (as you can see in one of the product photos), so I had to be very careful not to let it hit and scrape the ground. The velcro used to keep the oar in place was excellent. Overall, it was still a significant improvement over carrying the board by hand, but I believe it could benefit from some tweaks, such as longer straps.
Because SUP's are bulky rather than heavy, carrying one to and from the water can be difficult if you don't have a helper. "SUP-" is the name of the carrying strap. It's as simple as walking in the park with MOTOMY's "Mate. " The key to a simple setup is to loosen the straps until they are snug against the board, then cinch them. The loop and hook straps on the paddle are also very nice. This system can also be used to transport smaller kayaks. The straps and buckles are also made of heavy-duty materials.
Although the lake is only a few blocks away, the two-hour drive The weight of a two-person kayak is considerable. br>br>This product was extremely beneficial. br>br>The design of the strap and buckle (see Motomy- provided photo) is in good condition and capable of handling both the kayak and the paddle (though the two paddles may be iffy depending on how the entire package is carried). br>br>A minor quibble is that the storage of the carrying strap isn't handled as well as it could have been in the product design. br>br>However, the lifetime warranty earns it five stars instead of four.
More time spent on the water and less time spent figuring out how to get around. This holds both the oar and the board securely, and I would recommend it to any SUP rider, inflatable or non-inflatable. It's inflatable!.
This is what I got to transport my ten pounds. The strapping is sturdy, and the seams are well sewn on this 5' inflatable SUP board. Added to It's simple to buckle onto my board, and I carry it across my body, freeing up my hands for other tasks. It came with its own carrying case that fits neatly into my deck bag.
