I believe it is nylon.
1 inchbr>These are just as good as the Thule and Yak straps. Tie my kayak to my thule rack and it works perfectly.
Hello there - A roof rack is something we recommend you get - Wrapping these straps around your kayak and then inside the car (and then tightening) can'squish' the roof of your car down as you tighten them, as well as the rubber window liners and possibly the car's ceiling lining. I hope this information is useful! Blair, I appreciate it.
Good day, client! In response to your question, we do not calculate or measure this because it is dependent on the way the straps are and have been used. They're fine for securing paddleboards, surfboards, and kayaks, however, based on my experience. All of our products have a 'next-day delivery' guarantee. level guarantee', and please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any other questions or concerns. Thank you very much!

The straps vibrating against the car's roof was causing me some discomfort at first. It was extremely loud while driving at 20 mph. When I contacted the company, they advised me to twist the straps a few times. It worked well, but the higher I can raise the straps off the roof, the better. When one of the straps began to fray a little, they promptly refunded my money so that I could buy more! br>I like how the clip has a padded scratch protector over it. It eliminates all of the stress associated with flinging the straps around.
You can choose your storage device (either a dry storage bag, as I requested, or a drawstring bag), according to the description. The vendor emailed to see if I was happy with the product; I mentioned that I hadn't received the storage, and instead of offering assistance, the suggestion was to return it to Amazon. To that point, everything seemed to be in order. I will notify you if something is overlooked. When it does, however, make it simple to fix rather than returning it. The straps were put to use the next day after they arrived. The quality and functionality were exactly what I had hoped for. I'd buy it again, but be aware that there is no free storage.
Both my SUP and kayak benefit from these straps. My board is well-protected by the padding, which is critical. The majority of my friends wear the same straps as me, but without the padding. These straps are just as good, if not better, than the more expensive, well-known brands. They are extremely simple to put on and remove. I also wanted to express my gratitude for the excellent customer service. My bag arrived ripped, so I sent an email to the company. It wasn't a big deal, but they worked something out with me and kept in touch with me at all times. This product, as well as the company, comes highly recommended from me.
They perform flawlessly and remain fixed in the location you specify. Other straps I own have become a little loose after a few miles on the road. On the other straps, I started tightening them down whenever I stopped for gas or a bathroom break. Even after 3 hours of driving, these straps maintain their locked position. It's still a good idea to double-check all straps on a trip, but these give you more assurance that whatever you're carrying is secure and won't fall out.
So far, these straps have only been unboxed. The dry bag has a rubberized coating. The straps have a firm (rather than supple) feel to them. The neoprene case that surrounds the metal friction buckle is fantastic, and it appears to do an excellent job of preventing unintentional scratches or dents. br>Both straps can be easily stowed in the dry bag. br>br>This is an open and honest first impression. br>In the coming weeks, I'll be using these. Once I've used these straps for a while, I'll update my review. br>br>Update 04/06/2021br>The straps are holding up well. My purchase has satisfied me.
It did exactly what it said it would do. These were purchased for a Toyota FJ Cruiser with roof racks from 2007. On an 8-hour round trip with strong crosswinds and two surfboards strapped on top of them, they performed admirably. After tightening it down, there is plenty of strap left over. I wrapped the slack around the roof rack crossbars again, cross wrapped it, and tied it to the side bars, as well as using wire ties to secure the slack and keep it in place, preventing any loose straps from hitting the top of my roof while in transit.
Because the straps are thick and well-sealed, they are unlikely to unravel. The clamp has a lot of spring in it. Take a firm grip on the strap! Overall, an excellent product!!.
It is exactly as described in the description. The fact that the buckles do not scratch is a fantastic feature. BPS products are always a good investment. They have my trust.
