I told them I'd be happy to test a new pump and update my review if it worked properly, but they insisted on deleting my previous review first. Here's what they said: br>br>"First and foremost, we are delighted to send you two brand new electric air pump replacements. Please trust us, once your review has been deleted, please send us your complete delivery address and phone number, and we will arrange shipping of alternatives for you. These pumps were purchased in pairs. br>br> Both worked flawlessly when I tested them at home on three different inflatable kayaks. The second time I used them at home, they worked flawlessly. As a result, I decided that taking them to the lake was safe. br>br>I began inflating one of the kayaks, but the pump would stop at zero. I tried the second pump and always got 9 psi. The situation is identical. It came to a halt at zero. 9 psi. It's a good thing I had the manual pump because the trip would have been ruined otherwise. br>br>After some troubleshooting at home, I discovered that if the battery level is between 50 and 100 percent, the pumps will not automatically switch from low to high pressure. 60%. When I used the battery pump, it came to a complete stop at 0 volts. As it had been at the lake, the pressure was 9 psi. I manually pumped the kayak to over 1 psi and then tried the battery pump again, which started pumping on the high pressure pump and continued until the set psi was reached. I tried it with different pumps and kayaks and got the same results each time. Then I charged both pump to 100% and tried once more. They performed as expected this time. began using the low-pressure pump until it reached a pressure of 0 9 psi, and then switched to the high-pressure pump until the set psi was reached. When the battery is fully charged, it will fill our inflatable kayak in about 7 minutes with no effort. br>br>I give this one star because it will function as expected. I deducted four stars because it should work this way even when 50% charged AND for the reason below: br>br>It's also worth noting that the pump WILL NOT RUN ON THE WALL PLUG OR THE CAR PLUG, which emphasizes the importance of fully charging the pump before using it on the water. Only the battery is charged with these.
OutdoorMaster is a term used to describe someone who is skilled After reading every website and article recommending the Outdoor Master as a SUP pump, I decided to take a chance and buy it. I noticed that this was almost identical and included an internal battery, which was a huge plus (almost too good to be true). I took it out and blew up a ten with it. 5 feet tall Back to back 11 ft paddelboards at 15 psi and this thing handled it like a champ and was ready for a third (when using the OutdoorMaster, the pump needed a break after two boards despite being powered by hardwire). This is required if you have a paddle board or any type of inflatable that requires a high PSI. My paddle boards will no longer be pumped up with sweat and tears. Awesafe has you covered so you can sit back, relax, and unwind. br>br>Prosbr> Portable, onboard battery makes this SUPER ideal for bringing a paddle board or inflatable over to a grassy area rather than trying to inflate in a crowded parking lotbr> Quiet, especially when compared to the OutdoorMasterbr> I set this up about 20 feet away from our car in a grassy area where I could barely hear the hum (perfect for early paddle board sessions). br> Quick, I was able to inflate a paddle board to 15psi in about 10-minutes. It will take 15 minutes. br> Lightweight; in fact, it was about the same weight as the non-metallic version. Multiple Charging Options: I like that I can leave this plugged into my cigarette adapter and know that it will always be charged during the summer, but I also like that I can bring it inside and charge it through a wall outlet (charging time is about 6-hours). 10 hours from completely empty)
Battery, I started my first board with 91% battery and it ended at 71%, then after finishing the second board the battery was at 57% USB Type-C connector Having in's for backup batteries on camping trips is fantastic! Consbr>- br>br>- br>br>- br>br>- br>br>- b My only minor criticism is that I believe this pump takes a minute or two longer to operate than the OutdoorMaster, but I was operating it with the battery, so that could have been a factor.
