This will adhere to a hog that has been greased.
No, I don't believe the adhesive is sufficiently strong.
Greetings, Susan, and thank you for inquiring ahead of time. I double-checked all of the photos in the reviews and put them through some tests. It turns out that under the sun, the color fades to a lighter grey, whereas inside the house, it fades to a darker grey. br>Here are some examples of customer images: br>Grey that is a little lighter: Wayne; Eugene W. It's relatively light; a full sheet weighs less than half a pound. On my Bulldogs surfboard, I use it as a traction pad, and I'd say the overall weight difference is negligible.

We placed it on the deck of one of our kayaks so that our 50-pound dog could walk on it and return to the kayak without slipping. It was a huge success, according to the results! It is a hit with our dog! br>br>Note that you will still need to assist in counterbalancing the weight of the dog when walking around or getting back in, but both trips with the mat were fantastic.
To get to the leak and fix it, a section of it had to be ripped out. To cover up the area, I bought this pad. It was a good match for the factory foam pad in terms of thickness and feel. br>br>Adhesion is generally good, but I have elevation changes in the material at the edges of the repaired spot, and adhesion around those spots could be better. br>br>Another problem is that the pattern isn't just simple diamonds, but rather a complex 3d relief. My factory pad is just a simple diamond pattern with no extra complexities, so this doesn't blend well visually. I wasn't going for a perfect match, so it's fine for me, but be aware if that's something you're after. br>br>I'd also like the option of purchasing a smaller pad at a lower cost. Currently, you get a large single piece and are stuck with it, even if you only need a small area for repair and don't use the majority of it.
I used it to keep my puppy from slipping around in my kayak. I couldn't be more pleased!.
The color and diamond pattern are both appealing to me. This stuff sticks to itself like crazy. It's not going to be easy to get rid of it. Even on the hatch, where the plastic is a rougher surface and I had trouble getting stickers to stick, this stuff worked flawlessly. To make the pieces fit, I used masking tape to mask off the surfaces in a way that could be easily puled off. Then I took the tape off and stuck it to the deck matting, using it as a stencil to cut around with a snap off blade utility knife. I only gave it four stars because I wish it had been a little thicker to help deaden sounds better.
I bought it because my kayak didn't come with a fitted bottom silent track. The amount of noise in my yak has significantly decreased as a result of this. I put a large portion under my seat to be able to just throw stuff under it and it worked perfectly. Another application was where my paddle crossed over my yak and made a loud noise every time I kicked or set it down, and this worked perfectly to stop that. I intend to use it in place of my trolly anchor's pulley system.
The item is a good size for multiple cuts (a photo is included). I haven't had it on long enough to say how long it will last, but after a month, it's looking pretty good. It seems to be working. The product is significantly softer than the original Ranger factory-installed product, which had a harder rubber feel. I like how it's softer; it's more pleasant to walk on. Added non-slip properties Because of its softness, I didn't use it on my trailer; instead, I used a sand-granular-feeling tape.
Fantastic content! It has a nice, smooth cut to it. Where the cut was made, there was no fraying or unusual wear. The back adhesive is incredibly powerful! If you clean the surface thoroughly and apply the product with a heavy hand, you should be able to get a good result. It will stick to and conform to almost any surface. For a little extra traction in the footwell of my fishing kayak, I used this. To keep my sunglasses and coffee mug from sliding around, I slapped a scrap of leftover on the dash of my truck.
