Questions & Answers
Typically, we use four tens (four times ten). 32 pistachios, 4 pistachios, 4 pistachi 2x 10-inch bolts (2 for the clamp plate and 1 for each hole that goes through the wheel of each pulley) and 32 1 1/2" bolts (2 for the clamp plate and 1 for each hole that goes through the wheel of each pulley) We usually just use self tapping screws for the line guides. 32 1 1/4" (1x each for the pulley's end portion)
There are screws included in the package. Predrilling 1/8" holes is required.
I've used anchor trolleys made without a drill, Yak Gear, and now the lever loc. For the pulleys and hardware, I believe Yak Gear and Yak Attack are well worth the extra money. However, I prefer the trolley made by Yak Gear to this one. The yak gear's pulleys are freer to move. The simple design of pad eyes to keep the line in place has worked well for a long time, and Yak Attacks' version appears to be a little overkill, and while it works, it's not as good as the simple Yak gear style. br>br>If I'm going to install an anchor trolley on my kayak, I want it to be simple and the line to move smoothly from front to back or vice versa. If you're on a river, you don't want any problems deploying or retrieving your anchor.
I'm not sure if a kit exists. I purchased well nuts and used them to ensure that it was watertight. That is what I recommend. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.

When I'm standing up in a SOT Kayak, I can aim myself directly at my casting direction.
This is what all of these manufacturing firms do. Take ten cents worth of plastic, mold it into a two-dollar part, then package it with the word kayak and sell it for $40. This is, without a doubt, the best trolley available.
It's a breeze to set up. Go to YouTube and look for a video on installation that will be very helpful.
They are straightforward and effective. It's a beautiful design.
It does what it says. A fantastic option for a kayak anchoring system. The key is to keep the cords taut. When tying off at the ring, leave about 6" of tag to be easily untied and adjusted for cord stretch.
It does exactly what it says. This is my favorite anchor trolley out of several that I've purchased.
Get a trolley for your fishing kayak if you don't already have one. Wind and current control are excellent.
I was expecting a higher level of quality, to be honest. This is a low-cost material. It's hard to say how long it'll last.
