I bought this pad eye and rivet set to put on my son's Lifetime Wave youth kayak so we could put a seat on it, and these are the same black plastic pad eyes that came on it out of the box. Everything is the same size. br>br>It was very simple to install with a drill and a rivet gun, both of which I purchased on Amazon. You'll need a 3/16" drill bit and rivet attachment for your rivet gun because these rivets are 3/16" in diameter.
