Is this strong enough to hold an aftermarket seat in place?

Yes, I've been using them with a seat that was purchased aftermarket.

Is it possible to use these screws to attach a cushioned kayak seat to a decked kayak's plastic molded seat?

The bungee rings can be held in these because they're long enough. I'm not sure about the cushioned kayak seat, but I'm guessing you'll need longer screws.

Are these loops big enough for a carabiner?

Yes. They have a decent amount of height gain.

What is the length of the screws?

From the underside of the screw head to the tip of the screw, the screws that came with the pad eyes I ordered are 5/8" long.

Very well-made and functional. To ensure that the screws were watertight, use silicone around them as well.

These are great to have on hand when you need more kayak attachments. However, I recommend using a rivet gun. With enough force, it appears that the screws will rip out of the plastic.

On my tandem kayak, I used these to hold a universal seat. With some silicone and pop rivets, it was a breeze to put together and has proven to be extremely durable. The seat hooks are in excellent condition.
