Okay, but there are no nuts; it didn't occur to me when I got these that there should be nuts to secure these under the deck

I drilled holes in my boat and installed these (with silicone caulk underneath), and some of the screws just spun around and around. I'm not sure how well they'll hold up over time. Thankfully, I expect them to only hold PFDs and the occasional water bottle. I wouldn't put my life on the line for anything like this. So they're fine in that regard; I just wish they had nuts on the back side.

These were successful on our Viper 10

4 kayaks. For one of the end pull handles, I had broken one of the Pad eyes. These pad eyes worked well for us; the size is correct, and I was able to use pre-existing screws. I've used the kayak since then and had no problems with the pull handle or the strap.

These are exactly what I had in mind. They were used to secure 1/4" bungee cords to paddle boards as well as a boat. They're well-made and of excellent quality. When I run out, I'll order some more of these.

The spacing of the mounting holes corresponded to the dimensions of the boat; approx 1- 3/8”. I usually prefer stainless hardware, but the original equipment on this boat was nylon or similar, and this product was a perfect match.
