Get the "Suspenz big EZ kayak Rack," which fits my Hobie Outback, which is 14' long and 3' wide, and is simple to put in and out. It was an extra $25.
I'm not sure what a Jackson Cruise 12 is, but I can tell you that it holds my 13-foot-tall, 70-pound three-year-old son. kayak fishing for a single person It's a fantastic shelf!
My 36" wide FeelFree Lure 11 fits perfectly in Regular. 5' is perfectly acceptable.
from front to back I pre-drilled a hole for the screw to go through. I believe the side holes are for releasing condensation. I had to tape them up because they were on the side of my shed overhanging outside and bees were trying to make a home in them. I also use a Harmony Gear Cockpit Cover to keep things out of the cockpit.

This is a fantastic product; I used a 1/4" by 2 1/2" tap to mount it to a concrete block wall. Screws for the cons. I hung it from my waist, making sure the taps were in good working order. To add to the block's strength, con screws were inserted into the web. This is a good height for me to work at when I'm adding accessories to my kayak or cleaning it. I can also lift the kayak off the rack and place it in the back of my pickup truck with ease. To keep animals and the weather off the topside, I store it as shown in the photo, then roll it over to expose the topside when working on the yak or loading it.
These (two pairs) were purchased to store two Boreal Designs Okkpik 13' kayaks on the wall of my garage. They're tough as nails and perfectly angled for our kayaks. Depending on the geometry of the kayak, the bottom will rest on the rear padded section, while the edge will rest somewhere on the front padded section. Suspenz has also added padding or coatings to all areas where your kayak might come into contact, ensuring that you DO NOT SCRATCH IT! br>br>The straps are great for safety, but the kayaks would stay in even if they weren't there. Regardless, I use the straps and purchased them as an extra precaution to protect my expensive boats. The Suspenz manual suggests that the recommended positioning is about right. br>br>Suspenz has found the perfect balance of price and durability. If you need a wall hanger, don't wait any longer and purchase one of these.
After it's installed, it'll be a fantastic product. 3 stars and a word of caution to anyone considering purchasing this - The screws are a pain in the buttocks for lower-class Chinese people. While being inserted into the mount, three of them broke. I went to Lowes and bought the highest grade ones they had, and everything is working fine now. If you're going to put a $1200 kayak on the water - Make sure you're also putting money into the things that will keep it safe.
These racks are fantastic. For months, I thought about how I could store my kayak. Finally, I decided to purchase a wall-mounted rack. These appeared to be fantastic, and I'm glad I chose them. I like the bottom pads because they prevent me from scratching my baby (kayak). Advantages: br>br> br>In the garage, they look absolutely fantastic! br> It's very simple to set up. In 15 minutes, I had my kayak affixed to the wall. Hooks with padding! br> br>Straps that go all the way around your yak. br>br>Contrary to popular belief, there are a number of disadvantages to using this product. The straps are the only drawback I can think of. The top strap is extremely short; in fact, it does not even go around the top of my wider kayak. I don't use the straps very often, so it's not a big deal for me.
The screws that come with the package are abysmal. They stripped instantly, and because they stripped so quickly, they didn't even get all the way into the stud. To remove the stripped screw, I had to order a custom tool. After I removed all of the stripped screws, I purchased lag screws, which worked perfectly. This heavy-duty wall mount is well-installed. There's no way it'll go away. I'm still giving this product five stars because the wall mount is fantastic and Suspenz produces excellent products. They could simply improve the mounting hardware. It can hold my 31-inch-wide, 53-pound old town loon.
Racks that provide excellent support. I have a fairly large fishing kayak (11 feet long) that I use for fishing. I positioned them closer to the center of the kayak because I read that on kayaks like this, the majority of the weight is in the middle, so it's important to support it from as close to the middle as possible. I used velcro to attach to the garage wall to keep the rear straps in place when loading the kayak. I'm not sure if this is an issue for smaller kayaks, but once the kayak was on these supports against the wall, I had a hard time getting the rear straps up and over the kayak. br>br>If at all possible, I would replace the screws that come with them. It could have been my technique, but even when drilling pilot holes, the screws tended to strip. I had a hard time getting in until I used some Hex Head screws. Torq screws may also be useful.
I bought two pairs to use outside by the river to hang two kayaks on 4" x 4" posts. They appear to be quite durable and securely hold the kayaks. They were simple to set up. I had done some planning ahead of time pre-soak the screws in soap and then install them. The holes were drilled. Stripping the heads was not a problem for me. Because I've only had them for a few weeks, I can't say how well they'll withstand the elements. However, based on their outward appearances, I believe they will succeed. These kayak racks come highly recommended by me!.
Before purchasing these, I read through a lot of the reviews. The Perception Rambler tandem kayak is a big, heavy kayak. The Big EZ racks will not fit in our garage due to a lack of space. I called the seller's customer service after purchasing these smaller ones to confirm that they would work. On the phone, their helpful customer service representative impressed me. These racks were simple to put together and fit our kayak perfectly.
