Nope. It's small and portable.
Yes. They can be used for kayak maintenance, cleaning, and storage.
I'm not sure, perhaps with some kind of anchoring system like in a tent? It's a fantastic stand, and I really like it.
The Hobie Pro Angler is a little too heavy for these stands, but they'd probably work. Kayaks weighing less than 100 pounds are recommended. Without a doubt, you'd be exceeding your weight limit.

They resemble small television trays, but instead of a tray, they have a strap. I bought two of them. A 65-pound person can be stored in one set. No problem with a 12' SOT kayak. The lighter 10' sit-on set is on the other side of the room. The yaks are raised about 18" off the ground with this device. At campgrounds, it's ideal for my needs. They fold flat and take up little space in my RV when not in use. According to Best Marine, the racks are made of aluminum and have stainless steel hardware, so there should be no rust issues with the plastic and rubber parts. The racks aren't adjustable in height or width, so I'm not sure how well they'd work with heavy, wide fishing yaks. The grippy rubber pads on top are more durable than foam pads. There's no need to fiddle with locking hardware because the racks fold open. The racks open as wide as the strap allows and are kept from collapsing by the strap. When you fold them flat, they automatically lock into that position. They open with a light tug. Quick shipping, well-protected packaging, and no damage.
These work well and support my 55-pound, 18-inch frame. My 16-foot 'yak, my 78-pound fishing rig, and my 78-pound fishing rig (not at the same time!) I wish I had paid more attention to the measurements. Your boat will only be raised about a foot off the ground with these. I would prefer a 2' to 3' lift, but that is entirely my fault. These are lightweight and fold up easily.
I recently purchased a kayak and needed to choose a storage device that would be convenient to use. I couldn't lift my boat onto a ceiling rack for the life of me. These stands were very effective in resolving the issue. They arrived quickly and were incredibly simple to set up and operate. I was able to solve the storage problem. In addition, the setup is solid. The boat didn't even rock in the stands when I ran into it a couple of times. The storage solution is satisfactory to me.
Because our boats are used in salt water, we appreciate that all of the parts are rust-resistant. I'd also like to see a version that's six inches taller.
A product that does exactly what it says it will do. This is what I use as a kayak stand, and it works great. My only suggestion is that it be made a little wider and longer to increase its stability. But there isn't anything to complain about. It does exactly what it says on the tin. Prior to purchasing this stand, I built my own, which is extremely stable but large, heavy, and difficult to move. So these stands are better than the one I built, and I plan to demolish mine to make more space in my shop (where I keep my kayaks).
This is what I got for my fishing kayak, and it's fantastic. They don't slip and are so light that I can take them on a trip or even use them to camp in my kayak. My kayak is over 100 pounds when fully rigged and packed, but that isn't an issue. The height allows me to stow items beneath it in the garage and makes it simple to transfer the kayak to the trailer without having to lift it. It comes highly recommended!.
Because it comes fully assembled, it receives a high rating in the installation category. My kayak is a Hobie, which is of good quality. The most durable racks appeared to be the best. However, it was the first time I used the rack the day before yesterday. The first thing I noticed was that it did not provide adequate seating for a kayak. However, this occurred while the kayak was being raised. When one of the racks gave way, I was dragged down. Quadripolegic was the first word that came to mind. On my back, I was carrying an 80-pound kayak. It isn't a product of high quality. br>All I want is a refund of my funds. It indicates whether or not a refund will be issued. since the 25th of May.
Recently, we've had some CRAZY strong winds, and these have held up admirably! They are extremely stable, strong, and simple to operate. I wish the slings had a little more slack because I use them to support my kayaks upside down so that water doesn't collect inside.
