Questions & Answers

What size fin would I be if I were a men's size 6?

I'm not sure; I'm a size 7 1/2 woman who purchased an XS/S. On my feet, they're a tad loose. The XS/S fits a woman's shoe size 8 very well. I'm not sure how this stacks up against a men's size 6.

Hello, I'm interested in purchasing these fins, but I'm not sure how long the extra large fins are. ?

Hello, and thank you for contacting me with your inquiry. br>br>The total length of the foot pocket is 56cm, measured from the tip of the fin to the heel end. If I'm a men's size 12, what size should I get?

I'm a size XXL with a circumference of 11 inches. Size 10 2mm Mares boots on 5 feet. I prefer the XXL's extra space to the XL's. Both of these were utilized.

I'm going to use these as my primary diving fins
5/5

I bought these specifically for a trip where I wanted to see if I could fit all of my belongings in my carry-on bag. ons. These are just the right size for my roll-on bag. aboard; this isn't a roll-out designed for that purpose. I've only ever had one on board. In comparison to my full-size fins, I didn't notice any difference in underwater performance. I used these for 30 dives in the Galapagos Islands and had no issues. Although the current was low for the majority of the dives, they did well in the one with a higher current. I wore neoprene dive socks with a thickness of 2mm. Because I have a very high arch foot, the only thing I plan on doing is using a heat gun to form fit the foot pocket a little more. I believe these would be ideal for someone with a normal foot shape. I didn't have any of the foot aches I've had in the past with other fins. If you're really big, don't wear them with dive boots.

Fantastic Travel Fin! This is a fantastic pair of travel fins
5/5

The XL was purchased first, followed by some 2MM booties. I purchased the XL in order to accommodate the booties. I usually wear a size 10 1/2 to 11 1/2. A L fin is recommended by 11 US and Scuba Pro, but I believe that is only if you are diving barefoot. It seemed to make the most sense because I was on the verge of something big. These are also very easy to transport. Because my current ones are so heavy, I bought these to use for travel. These knocked down nearly three-quarters of a million dollars. When I loaded my dive gear into my suitcase, I cut 4 pounds off the weight. If you're anything like me, you'll bring all of your diving equipment on vacations. Dive equipment is bulky and requires at least one full suitcase. Anything that helps you lose weight is a good thing, and these fins did just that.

So far, the 2XL size has proven to be the most effective
4/5

These 2XL were a perfect fit for my size 13 5E feet in neoprene socks. They should fit up to a wide size 15 fairly easily, in my opinion. These are the only travel fans I've found that can fit anything larger than 13 D. Given that I have high arches, they're extremely comfortable. They're stiff, like a scubapro jet fin, and they take a while to get used to. They are, however, considerably lighter. br>br>According to one reviewer, Only the downward stroke generates thrust, not the upward. " It took me about 15 minutes to get used to this, after which I didn't notice it again. " I discovered that simply scissor-cutting You're pushed up and down when you kick. The upward thrust is approximately 40% of the downward thrust. This is typical for the majority of the fins. br>br>These are a shorter travel Fin, so you'll have to make some concessions because they aren't designed to be a full-fledged fin. Scuba fin that has been blown out. I believe they would be suitable for scuba diving, but I intend to use them primarily for snorkeling. br>Incidentally, I have several scubapro fins in extra large or two extra large sizes, and they all fit my alarming feet. Scubapro is the brand to get if you have wide feet. Stop tinkering with your off-brand travel fins. I tried them all, but none of them fit my extremely wide feet. Spend the extra money on a pair of scuba Pros; it'll be well worth it.

Flippers that can be carried in a bag and used for snorkeling
5/5

This is by far the most comfortable pair of flippers I've ever worn. These flippers performed admirably in shallow snorkeling areas in warm water during a Caribbean beach vacation. These were extremely comfortable, whether worn with or without neoprene socks/booties, and did not cut or blister. I would recommend the booties for any rocky or coral beach/snorkeling areas, as these flippers may irritate small cuts/abrasions. br>br>For the flight, I packed them in a standard carry-on bag. The center compartment of a Red Ox Air Boss easily accommodates these, as well as a mask, snorkel, and a lot more.

Overall, it's a bit stiff and never quite fits right, so it's a bit of a letdown
3/5

These were purchased to ensure that I had fins while on a two-week scuba and snorkeling trip around the Indonesian islands. I must have ordered the wrong size because they were the same size as my other scuba pro fins (which I love), but they were completely different sizes when they arrived (size up if you're thinking about getting them - they're great). When I put on my booties, I got instant cramps, so I switched to socks. too big. ) Aside from having the wrong size (which I only deducted one star for because, while it was my fault for ordering the wrong size, I expected ScubaPro to have similar sizing across their fin lines. They're about the same size as my regular ones and weigh about the same. not assisting with carry-on weight- on the basis of allowances They're also incredibly rigid - I realize that's a personal preference, but I didn't get that impression from the description or the comments. br>br>If you're trying to cram all of your belongings into a carry-on bag, They'll look good on you if you put them on. However, they will not assist with the ever-increasing amount of paperwork. In Asian countries, weight enforcement is becoming more strict (yes, for carry-on luggage). ons), which weighs in at 7 kilograms (approximately 15 pounds). Also, make certain that you enjoy stiff fins. In the water, they're quite different. If that's your thing, go ahead and buy them. Frankly - I left them with my grateful dive master in Raja Ampat, who had recently lost his personal belongings.

WELL, IT'S WAY TOO SMALL- UPDATE: June 14, 2020
3/5

I ordered a pair of "travel" fins for myself and my husband because we are both bio-mechanically challenged. We wanted a set of fins to use when flying to our destinations because they are so heavy. br>I made my decision based on the size charts and the majority of the comments, and I'm so disappointed because - from what I understand - It would be possible to wear diving booties. br>br>For my husband, I ordered a medium/large, and for myself, I ordered a small/xsmall. My husband would not be able to wear the medium/large - He wears a 9 in shoes. br>I have no way of knowing if the small/xsmall will fit my foot - A 6 1/2 is the size of the shoe I'm wearing. br>br>I think I'll be able to make do with the medium/large fin - However, my foot is still very restricted. br>We can't use the small/xsmall fins because I have the smallest foot in our house.
And - When I first got the package, I thought it was a joke. It was at the start of the COVID, and my immune system prevented me from going to the post office. As a result, I'm not sure if I'll be able to get them exchanged for an extra large. (
‐- br>Working with Amazon was a dream. br>I was able to exchange the xs/s fins for the xl/l fins after returning the xs/s. br>I kept the m/l and ordered the xl/l for my husband, so we now have fins that fit our scubapro booties. br>br>Once the size was determined, I was very pleased with the fins. br>br>Anyone ordering these fins in the future should keep this information in mind. If you plan to wear booties, make sure to order a size larger than you normally would. You'll have to return them if you don't.
