Product Description

Based on one of the first vented rubber fins to hit the market in North America, and a favorite among military and professional divers.
For use in harsh environments, it's compact and ultra-rugged.
Improved foot pocket with spring straps for comfort when wearing thick gloves or with cold hands.
For decades, military, special operations, coast guard, and public safety divers have used this design as their standard issue fin.
The short, wide blade provides maximum forward thrust while still allowing for excellent maneuverability.

Questions & Answers

I'm looking for high-quality entertainment that is also portable. Do you think these would fit in a standard carry-on bag?

These fins are amazing, easy to get on and off, and very powerful, and they will easily fit into a duffle bag and should be able to fit into a hard carry-on case.

Could you please send me a size chart for these fins?

There isn't a size chart that I'm aware of, but with an 11-inch waist, I'm guessing there isn't one. I use a large for my 1/2" foot and the boot, and it fits perfectly. The strap is a coil-style. like a strap that stretches but doesn't become too loose Overall, these fins are fantastic; I hope you find the right one for you. a pair of shoes

I usually wear a size 9 or a size 9 shoe. I'm five years old, and my feet are quite narrow. Is it better to get a large or a small?

Thank you very much for your query. You are in the middle of the size range. The Medium is a 7-point scale. The Small is 9 and the Large is 9- If your foot is narrow, a Medium may fit, but depending on the boot, a Large may be preferable. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do to assist you. HouseofScuba.com br>br>Codybr>HouseofScuba.com br>br>HouseofScuba.com br>br>Ho

Hi - I'm a size 10 with 5mm booties on my feet. Is medium the right size for you?

I am wearing a size 10 bootie with a 5mm hard sole. Mediums aren't going to work for you. The space is insufficient. It's ideal to go big.

If they had Bluetooth, they'd be even better
5/5

I bought these fins to replace my Cressi spits, which had been cracking for years. The Apeks are very nice; they're just a tad shorter but wider than the Apeks so they'll fit in my roll-on bag. The performance is excellent. Better than the Cressis, and I was just down in Mexico with them for a week, kicking and screaming while photographing large wildlife. Not only was I able to keep up with the big fish (well, as much as a human can), but they were also very comfortable, with no sore spots, blisters, or anything else. The spring straps are also a favorite of mine, and it's a breeze to put on. There are also small holes where you can remove them and clip them to your BC, which is extremely useful when exiting the water with a large camera in rough seas.

But, because I do, I like the idea of a shorter fin
3/5

I really liked these shoes, but I usually wear a size 8 in women's shoes. Because of my wide foot, I wear 5/9 in sneakers and heels. The Medium was way too big for me, even though I wear a booty size 8 women's (7 men's), and they don't make a smaller size, and I believe these are only made for men. However, I like the idea of a shorter fin because I don't have the strength to paddle long strokes, and I believe these would have worked out perfectly for me if they had made them in a smaller size. For reasons unknown to me, I ended up using the stretchy string ones which worked really well for the springiness around the heel since the adjust straps could not be used quickly due to the water, and my first experience with them was ruined when I got caught in a rip tide, but have One thing my boyfriend said about the springs is that they can't be replaced, whereas the stretchy string ones can. I'm not sure why they'd need to, but it's possible that their elasticity would deteriorate over time.

Fin and strap are of excellent quality
4/5

Fin and strap are of excellent quality. I'm a diver who works for a company. I switched from ScubaPro Jet fins to these. I've been diving them for over a decade, and they're a super tough, compact fin. I was looking for a way to protect my heels more, so I decided to give these a shot. The rubber isn't as durable as the tried-and-true ScubaPro Jetfin, but they do help protect the heel of my booties. They appear to scare up more easily than other fins, but not as much as other fins. In terms of durability, the ScubaPro Jet fin still reigns supreme. The stainless spring strap, in particular, is incredible. I've had the RK3s for about 8 months and have yet to experience any failures or tears. I'm hoping they'll be able to keep it together. I like the extra heel protection because it can withstand the abuse of commercial diving. We'll have to wait and see. If you enjoy scuba diving as a sport, this is a no-brainer purchase. They will definitely give you your money's worth.

It is both light and powerful
5/5

When I first started learning to drysuit dive, I used heavy Hollis F1s as training wheels. Then, as I got better at controlling buoyancy in it, I graduated to these lighter fins. Because everyone's body composition, gear configuration, and other factors influence fin preference, reviews should be taken with a grain of salt; however, if you like light, these are worth trying. Frog kicks have a lot of power, and reversing isn't a problem. They've been used in caves and have never let me down!.

The RK3 is a dependable fin
5/5

I'm a size 12 shoe or bootie, and the Large fin is perfect for me. The heel spring makes it simple to get into and out of the water. carabener ring holes - I purchased both this fin and the SCUBAPRO Go Sport (size: Large) fin to compare and found the Apeks to be more comfortable (out of the box). I particularly like the RK3's ruggedness and durability, and the spring heel strap is a real plus. I've done five dives in Hawaii since purchasing this RK3 fin, and I'm pleased with how it feels overall. There's a lot of power in this thing, and it's in a small package For me, it's the most comfortable fin all-around. If I had one complaint, it would be that it isn't the most attractive fin, but it gets the job done and is a durable fin that will last for a long time and can be used for whatever I want.

The quality is commercial
5/5

I work as a diver and clean boat hulls. These things are big, heavy, and tough, and they'll launch you like a rocket. If you're serious about diving and want a tough, reliable, commercial-grade fin, this is the one to get. I would recommend the super size if you wear shoes or boots and are over a size 10 mens; I'm a size 12 and wear shoes with my super x's and they fit perfectly.

If you're wearing shoes or boots, order the "Super" size
5/5

These have a good amount of flex while still providing the necessary thrust. The new season has arrived. They are quick to put on because they have a style retaining band in the back. putting on is simple take flight, the slits in the toes They're easy to keep on your feet during and after your swim because of the heel. ***It should be noted that if you plan on wearing these with any type of land-walking footwear, you will need the "super" size due to the height. the width of the footwear.

This is the only fin you'll ever require, and it's well worth the investment
5/5

That's fantastic! In all my years of snorkeling and scuba diving, this is by far the best find I've ever come across. For my diving class, I needed a new pair of boots-compatible fins. All fins should come with a spring heel strap, which makes putting them on a lot easier, especially if you're already in the water. I normally wear a size 9 boot, and the Large was a perfect fit. No pain or blisters after 5 hours in the pool.
