Questions & Answers

Is it possible to wear jim shoes with these fins?

Shoes are required in these situations. As long as you keep the strap away from the back of your heels, where it may rub and cause blisters if it comes into contact with bare skin. Perhaps diving booties would be a better option?

Do you think you'll be able to walk with these fins on? Do they float if they don't?

Last year, I bought a pair and fished with them for the entire season, never having a problem with them coming off. If one should happen to lose a fin for whatever reason, they have a tether strap that fastens above your boot. They don't float because they aren't made of water.

Is it $99 for a single fin or a pair of fins?

Fins are always sold as a set of two. These fins are great, and I was happy to pay $250 for a similar fin. Their prices, in my opinion, are very fair. If they don't feel right on your feet, you can probably return them. br>Have a great time swimming.

Is it possible to use these with wading boots? These, according to a previous question and answer, push you backwards. Do you agree with that?

Yes, they can be used with wading boots, and yes, you can use the backwards cycling technique to propel yourself through the water quickly.

My float tube will fit perfectly in it
5/5

These are my first fins, and they go with my first float tube. They are extremely effective. They're simple to put on and take off, and they provide all of the kicking power I need. A suggestion for the inexperienced. If you try to kick too hard, you'll tire out your legs and have a miserable time; light, easy kicks will get you across the lake/pond. Also, when turning, relax your legs and ankles rather than trying to be stiff in the hopes of turning faster. When you're relaxed and loose, it's much easier to do. I would also suggest purchasing some kicker keepers. It's just a lanyard that goes around your legs and fins. If your $100 fins slip off your boots in the water, they're a cheap insurance policy. They don't float, believe it or not.

They are roomy enough to accommodate large boots
5/5

They are extremely effective. With my size 15 Korkers Devil's Canyon wading boots and heavy sole scuba boots, as well as tether straps in case a fin should come off (which it hasn't yet), it's very adjustable and secure. They go with my Cumberland float tube and Wilderness SE pontoon boat. These fins propel me forward and allow me to maneuver easily whether I'm on a pontoon boat or a float tube. They're simple to put on and take off, and they appear to be well-made. I have no regrets about buying them because they are comfortable and functional.

These fins are fantastic for getting around quickly on the water
5/5

I've been catching fish in small lakes and ponds with these. It took me a while to get the hang of kicking with them, but it now feels completely natural after about two outings. br>br>I wear neoprene waders with size 12 wading shoes over them. (These fins fit perfectly, with plenty of adjustment range if you need to go bigger. ) Advantages: br>br> br> Straps are used to hold things in place. The straps adjust to your boots and remain properly tightened after several hours on the water. br> Buckle strap that stays in place. These keep the fins from falling off if they happen to fall off for some reason (which hasn't happened to me yet). There have been a lot of bad reviews on other fins where people have lost them in the water. br> Flexibility is a term that is used to describe the ability to change one's mind The fins are only flexible in one direction (upward), making them less effective at propelling you than fins that are stiff in both directions. br>br>Disadvantages:
- Weight. For backpacking longer distances, it's a little on the heavy side.
- It is not suitable for walking or wading. The flippers are too long for that, and you should only wear them next to your float tube or pontoon.

Amazing! These fins are by far the best I've ever used
5/5

I've had a pair of force fins for years and enjoy them, but as I've gotten older, putting them on has become increasingly difficult; however, the design of these fins makes them very easy to put on and work with any size wading shoe- yet another benefit. br>br>My only criticism is that they aren't as maneuverable in the water as the force fins, but this is a minor flaw.

This is an excellent result
5/5

So far, I've only used them twice. When worn over 5mm dive boots, they perform admirably. If you want to wear them over your wading boots, there's enough room. I swapped out the clumsy buckles for quick-release buckles. buckles that can be released Step in. Click on the button. Take a trip to the lake. They appear to be just as effective as my Force fins, which cost nearly twice as much. and which, two years after purchase, began to crack. According to the material and R&D, the Power Kicks should cost around $50. D, which was poured into them. However, these are a fantastic deal as long as people are willing to pay close to $300 for Force fins.

Each and every penny was well spent! I'm new to float tube fishing, and the fins that came with the tube were useless to me
5/5

After doing a lot of research, I decided to spend the extra money on these fins. When they arrived, I was pleasantly surprised by the product's quality and the fact that it included ankle tethers (which were not visible in the photo). I've used them three times now, and while I didn't think I'd be able to fly across the water at Mach 1, they did a much better job of moving me than what I had before, while using significantly less energy. Staying relaxed and kicking slowly is what I read. That worked best, and I thought to myself, "Pretend you're on a relaxing river cruise," and "Enjoy the fishing while taking it slow and easy. " They're a little heavy, but that's only due to the material's thickness and the flipper's quality.

They are what is known as a "Keeper
5/5

" Three straps per fin worried me, and the ankle strap is the only one with a buckle. The foot straps, on the other hand, are long enough that you don't have to remove them entirely. Simply put your feet in, tighten the foot straps, and secure the ankle strap with a snap. Buckles aren't as good as this arrangement. They perform admirably, but I don't have a direct comparison because I recently purchased a new float tube and fins. I was also worried about how difficult it would be to paddle with the fins; They aren't too big or too small.

I was taken aback! When these fins arrived at my house, I was concerned that I had squandered $90
4/5

I was concerned about how well they would move my 240lb body (plus float tube and gear) around the water because they were smaller than I expected. So, I gave them a try for the first time today, and holy smokes, I'm blown away. Even with my size 13 wading shoes, they're so light and comfortable that I didn't even notice I was wearing flippers. And I was astounded at how quickly they maneuvered me. The only reason I didn't give them five stars is because the straps don't have quick release buckles, which I easily added myself, and I believe the price could be about $15 lower. Aside from that, great fins that are well worth the money if you're willing to pay for them!.
