Questions & Answers

How much weight would this bag be able to carry?

Bags this heavy weigh are very sturdy, and I see people carrying as much as 55lbs in them. It is not clear if it is designed to hold 90 pounds. It would be best to split those weights up into two bags with 45 lbs in each bag. Furthermore, walking with two bags will put you in a better position for balance.

Looking for something I can use for scuba diving. Are there metal parts in this bag that would rust or corrode if wet weights were placed in it? What about wet weights?

Many times the weights were wet and I didn't take them out of the bag to dry, so I used the bag for several years with weights. The bag does not rust or show any signs of damage. The bag is wonderful and I recommend buying it highly.

What is the maximum number of dumbbells you can fit in your ?

Bags such as this one are designed for SCUBA weights and would not fit dumbbells bigger than a couple of lb.

Can the zipper slider be made of metal or plastic?

There are plastic teeth on the slider, but there is metal on the teeth. On my dive bag, I have never had any corrosion problems with my zipper. On some of the other metal sliders, I have.

Until then, I will leave it at that

Due to the fact that the product description is 100 percent false, I'm only giving it four stars. There is a statement in the product description. The following is listed under "Features & Information" Detailed information - The bag has twin heavy-duty brass zippers #5 with reinforced wrapping, and heavy-duty brass zippers. Handles should be wrapped around. I'm sorry,

of the travel case is fully padded and has a closed-cell foam core An extra layer of protection provided by cell foam. There are no features that meet this description. Plastic is used for the zipper, and no foam padding is found in the interior. In spite of this, it accomplishes its objective. This bag has enough capacity to hold the 20 pounds of lead I use as diving lead while still having room for my freediving vest, waist belt, and Furthermore, the handle is padded, which is a nice addition because it adds bulk, making it easier to grasp. My only problem with the zipper is that I've used other zippers that are the same as this one, which soon become difficult to slide over time. But I'll get over it when it's time.

The bag is nice and light
5/5

Bags like this are good. a lot more weight than I would like to carry with one hand. Plus, it takes up about half the space of the buckets I was using previously. I'm loading it with just over 40 pounds. The second one is on its way. I'm a SCUBA instructor. I often need extra weights to give to my There is a little name tag on it. It's hard to say how much benefit that will hold for me. I don't need that clip on the inside of the bag since it has a clip on the outside.

The same goes for weights used in scuba
5/5

It was excellent. The case has been used for several months to transport a weight set to hotels, etc. No major signs of wear have been observed. Weight plates won't fit into the bag and you'll probably want to buy weights that can be dismantled (depending on how heavy your lifts are). The value for money is very good and the service is very helpful. The complaints have not been received.

This bag is great for weight lifting
5/5

A year or two later, I bought an extra copy after enjoying the first so much. I split the bag into two because we put almost 30 lbs of weights in it and the bag lasted longer than my arm, so I divided it in two. There is enough room in one bag to carry four BC weight pockets that have hard weights in them, and that was my main concern when ordering In addition, can I put both my and my husband's weight pockets into one bag if I take them out of the pockets. It doesn't matter about space or durability as long as I have the strength in my arm to do it! Considering they were the ones who did the transfers, the dive boat guys also liked them. Don't forget to zip up the bags when you load them. Excellent zipper made of heavy duty material.

A great way to organize yourself! It's durable, strong, and can last for years! Weight bags by Akona are very strong and durable, and are great for keeping your weights upright and Despite its size, I can easily carry up to 40 pounds in mine, and I don't have to worry about the seams, handle, or bottom leaking
5/5

In the future, we may see this type of bag used more and more, but you don't need one if you routinely carry a lot of small weight pouches, ankle weights, or clip-on weights! Loss-prone weights should be placed on lanyards instead of hanging on the wall. Even though I usually use integrated weights, I carry a spare belt, buckle, and keepers in my bag just in case my first set breaks.

The bag is excellent
5/5

It will take some time to tell how durable the bag is, but it looks well made. In addition to heavy handles, the zips appear robust as well. About 30 pounds of weight is in it and it seems to be doing fine. Thank you for making this available to me.

They are durable and make lifting heavy objects much easier
5/5

The bag is very durable, and I'm very pleased with it. My dive buddy has been using it for a bit now and so far it has held up well, even after the abuse it has endured and carrying 38 pounds of weight. My weights are now stored in a separate bag, which has helped me handle my gear a lot easier, and I would recommend it to others who are considering.

There are lots of things you can do with it
5/5

Since I use it for carrying my dive weights of 40 pounds, I've used it for years. Also, I have two other models that are way cheaper and fit AR and 308 magazines well. They don't blink at the weight and don't blink at the price.
