That, I suppose, would be dependent on the hoses' actual length. Because it will almost certainly fit a DIR setup with a 6 foot hose, but I highly doubt it will hold a hookah rig with 50 feet of hose.
Yes, it was built with this purpose in mind.

It took some tinkering to figure out how to coil my reg/octo/console into the case (tip: use a coiling tool). Place the first stage in one of the case's lower "squareish" corners. It, on the other hand, coils nicely around the bag's perimeter. A total of four velcro straps are included - I'm not sure how they're supposed to work, but with a few loops of hose in between, I can twist them around so that each one secures back on itself. My (prescription) dive mask tucks in next to the first stage and my wrist dive computer fits in the center (with minimal squishing). My only criticism is that the shoulder strap is not padded (as described on Amazon) and is rather thin, roughly the same size as the belts built into my hiking pants. Once my gear is loaded into the bag, it digs into my shoulder in an uncomfortable way. In the end, I'll be able to pack everything I can't afford to lose into this bag and carry it on the plane. I'm going to get a $10 shoulder strap pad from Amazon or a local store.
This is a nice bag; it's well-made and has "adequate" internal padding; however, I wish it had a better shoulder strap, preferably one with some sort of padding rather than a thin nylon strap. Another feature that would be useful is a pouch for storing tools or spare O rings. On the plus side, it appears to be well constructed, with a cool orange fabric interior and a rubberized fabric bottom that provides additional protection for the bag when placed on the ground. The zippers are also made of high-quality metal and have an anti-snap feature. rust-resistant paint It's a good size, with plenty of room for the first. At a pinch, a second stage and pressure gauge, as well as a dive computer and possibly a mask and snorkel, could be squeezed in.
After a brief trial of the octagonal "AL" brand bag, I purchased my second Akona. It was found to be inadequate in terms of both size and content. features. br>For Atomic, I like to use my Akona reg bags. Regs for the Aqua Lung. br>br>The bag I use for my main reg has room for: both transmitters are registered For a console computer, HP has a hose ( of course, 2nd stage primary/secondary), main console computer, wrist computer I could possibly fit a pair of thin gloves or some small items in the remaining space. I've had my first bag for almost two years and it's still going strong. It keeps sand out of the way, which is especially important on windy days when shore diving. Some people object to the lack of a shoulder strap - For me, this isn't an issue. I only take it out of my main gear bag/backpack on rare occasions.
Pros:
- There's a lot of room in the main compartment. >
- Fits two full reg sets (when crammed slightly): one with first stage, primary, alternate second, pressure gauge, bcd hose, and transmitter, and the other with first stage, primary, alternate second, pressure gauge, bcd hose, and transmitter.
- a perfect match- 2, on the other hand, is a possibility. br>br>Contrary to popular belief, there are a number of disadvantages to using this product.
- Only the large compartment is available- Other small zipper pockets, side pockets, a slip for taking tage, and an ID card are not available. br>- It would be preferable if the bag was more versatile and included one or two small pockets on the side.
The logo and fabric color/pattern are the only differences in terms of size and features. The bag is well-padded and has four internal Velcro straps for securing a regulator. Because of the round shape, all of the hoses can be gently curved without wasting space in corners. I like the bag, but there are no pockets or clips to hold anything else, which I believe is a flaw. My grade is an O-. I'd like to keep the ring pack and regulator tools together with the regulator, especially since the center of this regulator bag is essentially open space. I suppose I could buy a small bag to stuff in the middle, but a zippered pocket sewn into the center of the lid would be nice.
I went to Google to figure out what I got and discovered it was an older version of the product than the one pictured. At first, I was fine with it because the blue color is lovely and there is an extra pocket on the inside, but as I opened the package further, I realized how large it was. br>br>This product is slightly wider and longer than the newer version, but it is not as deep. This makes it unsuitable for travel as well as storing extra items such as mask containers. I'll have to return it and look for another place to order from because I don't trust Amazon to send me the right version.
Velcro straps for securing hoses, pockets, and a pouch for small items are all included on the durable exterior. The zipper also appears to be durable enough to withstand wear and tear from airports and dive boats. This is a product that I wholeheartedly endorse.
The bag does its job and protects the regulator set in the way that it was intended. Pull strings are attached to zippers to make opening them easier, but they came apart after three months. 4 uses. If you don't mind the pull strings/tabs, this bag is for you.
