It does not, however, come with a cover for the inlet.
Rather than asking here, I'd contact XS Scuba directly. Mine hasn't rusted in the least. It's possible that yours is defective.
Both 200 bar and 300 bar DIN 1st stages are compatible. The thread and pitch of all scuba DIN first stages is the same.

All of my first stages are DIN (no yolks, not that there's anything wrong with yolks; it's just a personal preference that allows me to use all of my equipment for tec loadouts), so a converter is a must-have in my dive bag at all times when I'm recreational diving (I always like to have a back up). Despite the fact that I have a backup, I have yet to need it! I've used it on saltwater and freshwater dives in both cold and warm water environments, and it appears to be holding up well. After each dive, I make sure to thoroughly rinse it in fresh water and dry it, and I never store it connected to the first stage. A less expensive option than some other brands' converters!.
The good news (and one of the reasons I chose DIN for my personal gear) is that with an adapter/converter like this, any DIN setup can be converted to yoke! So, the other day, I was scuba diving with a SCUBA diver. I can simply attach this to my first stage regulator and dive with their tanks if they use a yoke! I was able to save some time, and we were able to complete the task. There's no reason why you shouldn't have one or two of these on hand if you have a DIN setup. It is simply unbeatable in terms of price! There hasn't been a single issue in all the time it's been in use.
The female threaded section of other, often more expensive adapters rotates, allowing the yoke portion of this adapter to stay exactly where you want it on other, often more expensive adapters. The yoke is positioned where it is on this adapter. It appears to be in good working order, but it is not always where you want it to be. br>br>If I ever lose one and need a replacement, I will buy again. They're well-made and reasonably priced.
This is an excellent piece of diving equipment to have. It is well-made and inexpensive. My regulator has a DIN connection, so I usually request an adapter or the removal of the DIN to Yoke insert from the outfit I'm diving with. If they forget their adapter or don't have a hex wrench to remove the insert, having this in their bag will come in handy.
I've been a scuba instructor for many years. Sturdy. I'm a scuba instructor, and I've been using this adaptor without issue for the past six months. To avoid damaging the threading on both the 1st stage and the adaptor with sand/small rocks, unscrew from your 1st stage, clean, dry, and store it properly. br>It's still working well and shining: ) I purchased a second one as a backup.
I dive DIN, so this is a great addition to allow me to yoke on tanks that can't be converted to DIN when I'm on the road. In Hawaii, I bought three of these for all of my gear and dived 27 times on each one. There is no rust, wear, or other problems.
This was purchased after my local scuba shop failed to inform me that the valve on the tank I was purchasing was Yoke. Din was required for the canisters of my Air rifle and pistol. If I end up in the same situation with the wrong valve, I'll most likely purchase another one of these. The converter is well-built and performs admirably.
