The V100 would be perfectly adequate.
Yes. Easily, and with plenty of room for ammo.
After experimenting with various locks, I discovered one that works perfectly, meaning there is virtually "no play or movement" horizontally or vertically when the shackle is inserted, and you can lock the end of the shackle into the lock's body. I discovered that a 50 mm (i.e. A 8 mm (i.e. 2") wide lock with an 8 mm (i.e. 2") wide lock with an 8 mm (i.e. , about a third of an inch) shackle diameter with a 25 or 26 mm (i.e. , 1") clearance for the shackle. I bought a Brinks 671- Home Depot sells model 50001, and Amazon also sells them. It was a perfect match. Other locks that fit these specifications are available; all you have to do is look for them and study the package dimensions. Other 50 mm locks, of course, have a 1. 5" shackles will also work, but these locks will allow an intruder to open the box a half inch while it is locked, peek inside, and then more easily insert a crowbar into the gap and destroy the box. It's much more difficult to accomplish with a 1" shackle.
On the booklet that comes with the vault, it states that there is a one-year limited warranty on vault cases.

These cases are of the same high standard that Pelican is known for. The fact that they don't have pick-and-pluck foam inserts is the biggest drawback. You'll need to be handy and have sharp blades in order to get a nice custom fit. The lid also takes up a third of the case depth, which may be a problem for some buyers. br>br>A box of ammo, two magazines, and two P365 / G43 sized pistols will fit in this case. br>br>With two carry pistols, it's ideal for air travel.
This was bought in order to transport a pistol as checked luggage on a plane. It was successful, and the airline was pleased with the outcome - That is all that is important.
Make life-size cutouts of them to use as stencils by printing a life-size photo of them. After making your final layout with the stencils on the removed layer of foam that requires the cutouts, use a fresh / sharp razor blade to cut out the spray painted areas after the paint has dried. You now have a polished custom cutout firearm travel case to be proud of. That's how we used to make custom cutout tool boxes in the Air Force before outsourcing it.
I had to cut the foam to make it fit, but it's now ready to use. Pelican should put pluckable foam in here, in my opinion.
I looked at a lot of pistal cases for a 1911 full size, and I'm glad I went with this one. I thought this case sounded a little bigger than I wanted, but it's just right. I also looked at the regular pelican protector cases, but the 1170 and 1200 were too narrow and too thick from floor to top. They also put a great latch system on these Vault cases! I also prefer the solid foam, which has three layers on the bottom and one on top. The pick-out cubes aren't my favorite. This case is built to last, but it isn't overly heavy. This is an outstanding case. Pelican does not make cheap junk; I'm a welder and prefer things that are built to last; if you want something stronger than this, you'll need 1/4 steel. br> I'm not usually one to write reviews, but this is really cool.
Due to gaps in the lid (not even), I'm not sure if it's water proof or airtight. Seals will wear unevenly over time as a result of uneven lid gaps, as shown in the photos. br>It is made in Mexico, not in the United States.
This barrel can be used for a firearm as well as other barrel configurations. Everything was in the right place. One of the foam pads had to be taken out.
I found this at a cabela's and it was cheaper here. It's a nice case, so we bought five of them.
