WITH FOAM! is written at the top of this page (on which I am reading this question).
You looked at Amazon's "Product Dimensions," which typically display the packaging/shipping container size rather than the actual product dimensions.
It's a dark grey that has a matte finish. On the largest planes, you might be able to fit it overhead, but not on most--I always check, and my gear (lights) always makes it safely.

This is convenient because it prevents the lid from falling backward, which can cause damage to the hinges. br>br>The case is much larger than I had anticipated, and it may be TOO large for my purposes. It was difficult to find something large enough to have a handle and wheels. It's also quite deep, and the pick-up line is quite long. and-pluck is divided into two layers, each measuring a few inches. They're easy to cut with a sharp knife and retain most of their integrity even when cut very thin, so long as you keep a width of at least two "blocks" between separate cut-outs. The foam in the case is fairly strong, so there are no gaps or voids. The only thing I don't like about it is the shaky extension handle (which reminds me of a suitcase wheel)- It appears to be sturdy enough, but it is quite flexible, and I'm not sure how well it will hold up if the case is crammed with heavy items. Overall, it's still a five-star experience.
Don't be afraid to believe in yourself. I've bought a lot of used things. brand cases, but they don't seem to work. Off- Branded cases are typically less durable, have more difficult locking mechanisms, and have cheesy design flaws. Following the purchase of a large number of off-the-shelf products, After trying a few different brands, I decided to go with Pelican. br>br>One of my all-time favorite guitars is the 1560. Favorites through the years The dimensions are ideal for the 1510 and 1600 series. It still has only two front latches, but it seals properly. TSA to FortLocks are among the locks I employ. br>br>The tenacious br>br>br>br>br>br>br> Only use a pull system if you know your storage items will not change. I'd pair the padded inserts with a lid organizer to complete the look. It's more adaptable and less "messy" than the pluck-style cubes. There's a lot of pulling going on! br>br>In general, this product should be considered an investment. This brand has earned my trust and will protect your valuables inside.
In general, the 1560 is of Pelican's usual high standard. I carry about 25 pounds of gear in this case. This is made simple by the rolling function. Because of the strength of the non-fiction, I reduced my rating by a star. The latch comes to an end. The seam pops open when lifted by the top handle, exposing what's inside to any dirt or moisture that may be present. This could have been avoided if there had been side latches. Lifting the case from the top handle, say after rolling it up to the back of your vehicle, is a natural action. I have to use the side handle to keep the case closed - The entire purpose of having a handle on top is defeated.
I believe the lid is difficult to close for some reason, but I'll live with it because the next one might not have the same issue. Do I recommend it? Yes.
For good reason, Pelican has become the gold standard in cases, to which all others are measured. They are well-built and water-resistant. I believe I could drop this case from the loading platform and it would easily protect the contents due to the included foam, which allows a custom fit for the items inside. These cases are a little pricey, but they are well worth the price when you want the best protection for your audio mixer and accessories. I'm using this case for my audio mixer and accessories, and I feel confident that they are well protected. It's simple to transport them from our practice space to gigs because everything is contained in one location. This book comes highly recommended.
This is an amazing case! I also have the Pelican 1510 with padded dividers, but I needed a bigger case now that I'm doing more video. This case is just right for me--it's the right size. large enough to hold all of my belongings, but not so large that I can't carry it when it's fully loaded! Pelican cases have been my go-to for over 30 years, and I've never had a problem with them. I travel extensively and frequently to very remote locations as a photographer, videographer, and filmmaker, and I know that my Pelican cases will protect my gear and get everything there in one piece. Oh, and don't forget about the padded dividers--they're a must-have. The lid organizer for this and other Pelican cases is a great add-on, really helps to organize those small items like flash cards, lens cleaner, lens caps, batteries, and so on. The only complaint I've ever had about Pelican is their price, but if you shop around you can find good deals.
